Das White Sandy Beach ist kein klassisches Homestay, sondern ein ehemaliges Resort, dass sich im Wiederaufbau befindet. Es wird im Vorfeld kommuniziert, dass der Strom auf drei Stunden begrenzt ist und man kann sich entsprechend darauf einstellen. Es kann ebenfalls sein, das es kein fließendes Wasser in den Hütten gibt und mit einem Eimer ausgeholfen werden muss. Bitte kommuniziert auch das beim Einchecken! Das Essen war ok für uns. Internet gibt es keins, mobil funktioniert ausschließlich Vodafone. Kein Digicel! Die Frauen geben alles, damit man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat! Wir hatten Probleme mit Hornissen und uns wurde sofort geholfen und das Problem beseitigt. Immer mit einem Lachen und Spaß dabei. Kommt hier nicht her, wenn ihr ein Honeymoon-5*-Resort erwartet! Wenn ihr aber Budget-Reisende seit, dann findet ihr hier den Südseetraum mit Bungalow am Strand! Der ewig lange, einsame Strand und das traumhafte Korallenriff entlang des gesamten Strandes sind umwerfend!

Direkt am Meer in einem kleinen Dorf gelegen, kann man hier einfach mal entspannen. Die Unterkunft ist einfach aber so wie beschrieben. Das Bad bräuchte ein bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit, aber das Essen war super und der Kontakt zu anderen Reisenden sehr schön. Danke an Joe, für das sichere Bootmanövrieren!

Evelyne et sa famille nous ont accueillis chaleureusement chez eux. Ils ont partagé avec nous leur quotidien et culture sur leur petite île magnifique Si vous voulez vivre LA vraie vie fidjienne aux Yasawas alors n'hésitez pas. I enjoyed my stay at Yasawa Lodges/Nabua Lodge on Nacula Island. The staff made some extra accommodations for me and made me feel like a VIP, and family friend. It was relaxing to hear the sound of the waves before sleep and a beautiful sunrise to great me in the morning. I was able to work remotely from the router at the main building (mobile data) but was fast enough. I was pleased with the food and portions and had a lovely time.

I had a memorable stay at this homestay, thanks largely to the incredibly lovely and welcoming family. They genuinely go out of their way to make you feel at home, and they offer a range of activities that provide a great insight into the local culture and way of life. Just keep in mind that no activities are offered on Sundays, which is something to plan around. The beach here is by far the most beautiful I’ve seen in Fiji – truly breathtaking! Though the tide goes quite far out around midday, which isn’t ideal for swimming – but that’s just nature. However, the room, the bed and bedding were quite old and had a noticeable moldy smell. The food was okay, but not particularly memorable. Keep in mind, this isn’t a 5-star resort, but a true homestay experience with beautiful people, and you pay significantly less than at the big resorts. Overall, if you’re looking for an authentic, budget-friendly experience with a wonderful local family in a stunning setting, this is a great choice.

Für uns war es der schönste Ort auf ganz Fiji. Die warmherzige Familie hat unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Gemeinsam gingen wir fischen, aßen zusammen, erkundeten ihr Dorf und die Kirche und genossen abends das Lagerfeuer am Strand – einfach traumhaft! Die Bungalows sind charmant und werden derzeit nach und nach liebevoll renoviert. Auch das Essen war ein Highlight: authentisch, frisch und lecker. Wer das wahre Fiji erleben und die besondere Gastfreundschaft der Menschen spüren möchte, ist hier genau richtig!

AMAZING! We had the most incredible stay at this homestay on Fiji! From the moment we arrived, Navi and his family made us feel so welcome, like we were part of their family. The peace and tranquility of the place was unmatched, with a beautiful beach just a short walk away. The food was amazing, filled with fresh, local flavors that we’ll be dreaming about for a long time. One of the highlights was our tour of a nearby cave, a unique and cool adventure. Navi also shared his local knowledge with us, giving us great recommendations for things to do, and we even got to visit the village, which made us feel even more connected to the local culture. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. If you're looking for a place that combines adventure, relaxation, and true Fijian hospitality, this is it!
