Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guntersville Lake

Such a beautiful place to relax and have a great time! We stayed here for our son’s wedding and it was perfect! Thanks for hosting us and the helpful communication. We will definitely be back when we need a get-a-way!

Mike was very kind, and a very easy going host. The house had a warm, home-like feel and was in extremely good condition. I will be returning if I find myself in the area again. The place was amazing, and the pictures do not do it justice. Country-like, peaceful feel, with not another person seen on the county road in all 5 days we were there. 10/10 recommend.

We love this place so much. This is our 8th or 9th or 10th stay! Lost track. We don't stay anywhere else when we come to Guntersville. We bring our own boat and make it down at least once a year, sometimes a few times a year. We have had zero problems. Highly recommend this for a perfect place whether to fish or just hang out. The locations is perfect for us and the house is immaculate. Although we do spend more time on the back porch swing than in the living room! Thank you again Kelly! We'll be back as soon as we can.

The Blue Cottage was a great house to stay in while we visited Guntersville Lake. Everything was provided to begin with, but just be aware that if you are there for several days, you will need to bring TP, Paper towels, Trash bags, Dishwasher soap, and Laundry soap because there is only one supply. The house was clean though and we had a great time. The beds were very comfy. Grill worked great too. They provided extra standup fans too. Thanks for working hard at providing a nice house. Much continued success.

This home was absolutely wonderful. We loved that home felt secluded in a peaceful area of the woods but you were still just 5 minutes from stores. It was very convenient to Walmart and Publix. The home was very clean and she provided everything you would need including extra blankets, towels, qtips, cotton balls etc. The split floor living area has an adorable retro feel to it and the balcony outside of the living area was a perfect spot to work every morning and hear the birds while under the perfect amount of shade. We didn’t hate that it rained a few days either because the sound of the rain on the roof was very calming. The only thing to point out, which didn’t bother us but felt like it should be known is that the primary bedroom has a curtain as the door. The other room has a door. Didn’t bother us though and we will definitely be returning again!!

Kelly’s place was amazing. If you are looking for an awesome getaway to Chattanooga, this is the place. Beautiful house right on the river. We fished, built a fire, ate good food, and had a wonderful time. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Claire and Bryan had the most absolutely adorable cottage ever. They’ve literally thought of everything from dishes, to hot plate and silverware, to coffee and creamer (plenty as well). They were so quick with responses and sending welcoming messages I was so wowed. I took away ideas for a future build even. The style and comfortability was so homey!!! I will be visiting again when we go back to visit family! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

This was a FANTASTIC find. The great reviews are well deserved. We had a wonderful relaxing stay before a week long conference. Thanks to the great restaurant recs and answers to all my questions when we first arrived as to the area. The apartment is so welcoming and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Would LOVE to come back if we are in Chattanooga again! Thank you for such a great stay!

A very peaceful place to stay! Very close to things I enjoy doing - hiking, learning about the area. The guest house was very clean and I felt at home with the comfortable furniture and bed. The four-leggeds, Ginger and Belle, came to visit every day which was treat for me. I highly recommend this guest house and Tammy and Jo as hosts.

Absolute top knotch host, and stay. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and spotless. The stocked kitchen is a huge bonus. The morning muffins were a big hit, especially for my kiddos. The host honestly thought of everything, and went above & beyond with SO many amazing extras!! You can definitely tell LOTS of love has been put into this home away from home. We loved everything about our stay here! The apartment was very clean and modern but still cozy. We loved the location and the ability to walk to so many great restaurants and places in Chattanooga. The hosts are incredible! Their instructions couldn’t have been easier to follow, they even included photos to make it as simple for guests as possible. Then went above and beyond with perfectly detailed lists of restaurants for dinner, lunch, and brunch, drink spots, fun things to do in the area, and more. I especially loved the notes about certain places that were their favorite, who had the best coffee, and driving or walking distances. Everything was truly wonderful and we hope to come back and stay again soon.

Great spot to stay and conveniently located in Old Town close to downtown Huntsville. Jonathan's place is very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Easy walking distance to downtown with restaurants and bars close by. The place is charming and well decorated. Host were super responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Wow we felt at home. Was very overwelm of how much effort put in home would love to know contracter to come to my home to help with my ideas on bed and breakfast. Would like to come back next year. We enjoy our three nights. Please keep us in mine for next years convention ofJehova Witness

Josh's place was perfect for a long weekend. The house was spotless, comfortable beds, a variety of pillow sizes, and a selection of snacks was left on the counter. Perfectly fit our 2 small families for the weekend.

Gary's place was excellent! It was just what we needed after wedding activities at Gardens of the Gorge. This place is very quiet at night and a great place to unwind. The view from the balcony is so nice and was a welcomed sight each morning. Thank you again!

Place was easy to find and very clean. Host was awesome and communicated great. I will def be back when I’m in town, would give more than 5 stars if possible.

This little studio condo was so adorable! It was tucked in the middle of downtown. There was so much within walking distance. The place had everything you needed - all the amenities, plus soaps, dishes, and extra blankets. One of the owners, Tyler, check in on us when he realized a ton of commotion on the ring camera. He was also very responsive when I had questions! Suuuuper cute! I hope to stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay! Perfect for a weekend getaway. We were within 20 minutes max from different attractions. I think some of the reviews mentioned noise from the traffic but that did not bother us at all! Yes, you can hear it but it wasn’t too loud that we couldn’t sleep. Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing location. Great restaurants within 15-20 minutes. UTC is a 10 minute walk.
