Campsite holiday rentals in Gulf of California

What a wonderful experience! Nothing better than sleeping on the beach in my book. The staff took so much care with us and our experience. Hot showers, flushing toilets, comfortable beds, robes ... It was all a very decadent camping experience. And the WHALES!!!We can wait to come back!

The RV I rented was lovely and everything was as described. Place was clean and organized. They responded quick to all my questions. Will rent again on my next stay at Rocky Point.

Dean's place is awesome. Super close to town and all the best places to eat. The compound attracts travelers of all ages and backgrounds, it was so fun to meet everyone. The setup with the outdoor kitchen acts as the heart of the place really brings everyone together. Plus the place is literally on the beach... couldn't ask for more. And wifi is decent as well!

We dealt with Oscar during our stay and he was amazing. I actually thought it was on the beach based on comments I think but it worked out fine. We loved the quietness of the location and it wasn’t far from the beach. We were able to use the pool at another location just down the hill, right on the beach, fabulous! Love the town, the people, will definitely be back. Thank you Oscar for a wonderful stay!

This place is beautiful, the tents are cozy, staff is friendly. For the price you pay, this spot is great.

This place is as advertised. The place was clean, corners and all. The owners are one of a kind for sure. I needed to charge my Tesla and Roger worked tirelessly for several hours to try find a way to get my charger working. They love animals, we have 3 poodles, $40! The open screened in area was awesome and lots of hot water. Big refrigerator to stock up on those groceries, some kitchen stuff to cook with, wonderful view of the El Mar. If you’re into restaurants you’ll have to hop in the car and drive a half a dozen blocks. Otherwise stock up on groceries at the Supermarkets up north of the roundabout. Oxxo (24hrs) is really close, you will see it driving in. Lots of parking. Tranquilo y disfruta la día!

Our stay at Ana’s trailer was awesome! She is very helpful and was always quick to respond. The trailer is setup nice and is very close to things in town, we would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home and location! Great communication with the hosts prior to our arrival and during our stay with the local manager. Works perfectly for two families as the casitas are side by side with adjoining pool. Will definitely rent again and recommend to friends and family.

A lovely, peaceful stay for a quiet weekend away. Bisbee is about 15 minutes from location so it's an ideal resting spot to stay outside of the bustling old town. James was extra friendly and helpful. Grounds are well kept. Thank you!

This place is a true sanctuary and Emanuele is the best host and instantly treats you like a friend. He is also a great cook :) I feel I can finally arrive somewhere after i have been moving from one place to the next. All the tents are really beautiful and built with much love. There is a fire place and the showers have warm water. And you have a great view. This place has character, definitely the right choice.

The schoolie was exactly as described. Comfortable, private and close to the beach. Baja Grill is a great restaurant across the street with lively music some nights but shuts down early so doesn’t keep you up if you are an early to bed sort. Ernesto and Samir went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

John was one of the best Airbnb hosts I've ever had. The RV was better than expected with fantastic a/c, and his contact Ruben in Rocky Point went above and beyond to have it placed in a perfect spot at Playa del Oro on a super busy Memorial Day weekend. John was so great to communicate and work with. Trust me, if you rent his RV you won't be disappointed!

Great location, easy walk to down town! Clean, friendly, safe, cool and a great breakfast!

OK.... if you are looking for an out of the way little place quiet and serene. Don't look any further you found it. The Camper is decorated super cute plenty of towels and blankets. Cupboards were completely full. We were so Thankful that our host thought of everything things so we didn't have to buy anything to prepare food plenty of plates, silverware and steak knives even a kettle on the stove. We will definitely be back to this little dessert paradise. Not to mention the pool was crystal clear and the laid back Atmosphere was the highlight of our stay. Corinne was easy to work with and a pleasure talking to. Checked on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed we will definitely be back here!!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay, I wanted it to be a special trip for my daughters and it was! We didn't have any setbacks and the host was always on the lookout for everything. An adventure to remember beautiful, highly recommended!

5 Stars – Clean, Comfortable, and Peaceful Stay I stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The RV was way more spacious than I expected and extremely clean, which made it feel really comfortable right away. The host was super helpful and responsive—answered all my questions quickly and even gave some great local recommendations. The location is beautiful and very quiet. At night, the stars were incredibly clear—perfect if you’re looking to relax and disconnect for a bit. It’s a peaceful spot that still feels close enough to town if you want to get out and explore. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway. This place deserves Superhost status, for sure!

Everything was outstanding but it should be noted that there isn’t any refrigerated air conditioning. It has a swamp cooler that works really well but the bedroom can get a bit stuffy. Otherwise if you’re into bird watching and a 1950’s style mobile home, this place is very special. We barbecued and had a wonderful time exploring the surrounding wild lands.
