Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Guanabara Bay

The chalet is exactly like in the pictures. Extremely clean, comfortable bed, new utensils. Very fragrant! Although there is no curtain in the room (it would be perfect if there was one) and no wall or anything, we had total privacy. Quiet location, ideal for couples. My husband and I had a wonderful day!

The house is wonderful, everything was very clean and organized. We were very comfortable and had the support of the housekeeper when we needed it. I highly recommend the experience!

As always, I highly recommend staying at the place. It was an incredible, relaxing weekend in this house that we love. I have been taking my family for years and we always stay at Daniella's house, who is always friendly. House close to everything, extremely clean, fragrant, tidy and organized. As always, I only missed items that we always saw and that this time there was no more like soap, oil, salt, coffee and sugar (some of these are in the ad, but we had to buy in the market). Otherwise, it's always a 10. I highly recommend it, you won't regret it! We will be back soon.

Andre was a truly amazing host. He lives nearby and treated us more like friends than guests. We were even invited to his birthday party — an unforgettable and authentic dive into Brazilian culture. The home is located about 1.5 kilometers up a rocky dirt road, with a 300-meter elevation gain — which probably makes a huge difference during the hot season. The views of the granite mountains are stunning, and you really feel immersed in nature. Monkeys are frequent guests There are fantastic hiking trails nearby, including one that leads to a waterfall, and I especially recommend the trail to Chinesa Vista — one of the most breathtaking views of the city from above. It’s about a 30-minute walk each way and a great little workout

The house is very beautiful, the internal lake and the view are the strong points. Good beds and bedding, we missed more towels because we went in the cold and it was difficult to dry. One point of attention was that two dogs, one of them a pit bull, entered through the back of the yard, I found the situation dangerous, especially if someone had children, the lower part is not fenced so it facilitates the entry of animals and people. The space matches the photos, but the beach no longer has sand, it had rocks. There is no cell phone signal 30 minutes from the house, and the instructions to get there need to be more detailed with reference points.

The house is great! Totally spacious and cozy! I spent my birthday with my family and the stay was perfect! The house was all clean and had all the necessary utensils in the kitchen/house in general. They had games available, a projector to watch movies on the outdoor screen, among other things. 10/10 :)

Nice home me and my husband enjoyed our stay, our host Jeanne is very friendly and responsive , shared a lot of great nearby markets and access to uber. Easy and quick access to vidigal beach, we enjoyed this beach the most it’s quieter and away from the busy beaches. We would definitely return to stay at this gem 💟

A beautiful, cozy space!

Wonderful place to stay with so much space! The accommodation had everything you need, stove, oven, hot water, a blender. The bed was very big and comfortable and I felt so at home and the host was super responsive too! Highly recommend.

We were very well received and had all the support during our stay. The Studio is great, it has all the comforts and when we arrived we even got a welcome treat. Everything is very clean, we noticed the attention to detail. The bed is excellent, we slept very well! The location is perfect, easy to find and in a strategic point for those going to the airport or to enter the island. I recommend the place and whenever I need it, I will make a new reservation.

An excellent place for those looking for agility of travel, with means of transport by hand. Very helpful and attentive host, it was well worth it.

A good place to stay, super central if you want to go by bus or subway, as you can move around the city using public transport. If you want to use Uber and go to the beaches, the price is around 40 Reals. At the entrance, they were always attentive to entry and there were never any delays. Of course, at night it is a place with almost no people (like almost all of downtown Rio) and dark, it was not unsafe at any time but keep that in mind. If you want to stay in the center to be close to the classic area of RJ, it is a good place. We walked to the cathedral, Lapa arches, selaron staircase and many other attractions.

The building is very quiet and the location is perfect, Maricy was amazing in the fast communication from start to finish.

The accommodation in the house was good, Cris always willing to help, the location was very good, because I did a race nearby.

This apartment is a little dream, compact in the most charming way. Every detail felt so thoughtful. From the curated design objects to the vintage furniture, everything had soul. We slept wonderfully up on the mezzanine, in the rose-colored bedding, which I really loved :) Waking up to that view each morning made it all feel a little cinematic. Vítor was incredibly kind, helpful, and always just a message away. The neighborhood felt safe, and getting around was super easy. Ubers were always nearby. There’s even a small washing machine for light laundry loads. Truly, this place had everything we needed and more. Highly, highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed my stay! The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and had a great location - it is literally across the street from the beach! Camille was extremely helpful and responsive during my stay, even sending my friend and I several recommendations for activities to do in Rio. The location of the apartment is great, with great local restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. It is also just a quick Uber ride away from big attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer. Overall, I had a great experience and would stay again if I came back to Rio.

Amazing stay! Close to everything; bakery, market, warehouse, subway, bus stop. Not to mention that next to the apartment there is a very famous restaurant with great prices that is open until 2 or 3 a.m. So I felt super safe arriving late. It would always return!

We went to my daughter's wedding in Rio, and it was the best place we could have found... Adriana, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming... made us feel at ease. And the apartment was ideal, it was perfect, the location wonderful, the neighborhood, a beautiful view of the Sugarloaf, in front, close, and a good space for our dog, who by the way loved it... and when opening the door a delicious smell of everything tidy and clean, in the details. We love it, and we'll be back...!

I just have to thank Fernanda for all the support she gave me. Location near the center of Lapa, you can walk easily, everything is nearby. The concierge was extremely polite with me, towels, bed linen, extremely fragrant environment. My birthday in Rio was wonderful, and much of it has to do with this wonderful stay, I hope to return again.

I highly recommend this home! The apartment is very well located, close to tourist spots and local shops. Easy access to the building and very friendly staff. The apartment itself is perfect for two people, very comfortable and practical for those who will spend more time enjoying the city. We felt completely comfortable in the apartment. It corresponds exactly to the pictures and extends over three floors, which gives it a very special spatial effect. The location on the 13th floor is a bit unusual at first - especially because of the floor-to-ceiling, fully opening windows - but you will be rewarded with a spectacular view. Both the bedroom and the living room offer impressive panoramic views that make your stay a special experience. A small downside: A busy road runs nearby, the noise of which can be heard - especially when the window is open. The area scores with an excellent infrastructure: in just about 10 minutes on foot you can reach the vibrant nightlife with a large selection of restaurants and bars. There's something for everyone here - whether it's for dinner or a relaxing drink in the evening.
