Great get away! Perfect for a larger family!

This was our 2nd stay at Lynnette's farm and we absolutely loved our stay. The home is exactly as described and very clean. Lynnette is very welcoming and willing to share her knowledge of farming with guests. Our children loved learning about the animals, holding the chicks, meeting the pigs, sheep, geese, and dogs. If you are looking for a calm and relaxing space where you can slow down and kids can explore, this is the place. We plan to come back again!

There were no unpleasant surprises. Everything was clean and in working order. The living room is big and so is the flat screen TV. We ended up watching Little House on the Prairie which seemed pretty fitting. We didn't use most of the kitchen except for the drip coffeemaker and the microwave. Sugar, coffee grounds (one kind, not in original container), mugs, and silverware were provided. I was worried how the coffee would turn out but it was better than what we had at the Holiday Inn lobby in El Dorado and the Hilton Garden Inn lobby in Wichita. The master bedroom and one of the small bedrooms had comfortable beds and pillows. The other small bedroom had a hard bed. I was greeted in the morning by the friendliest, happiest farmdog who was shortly summoned for farm duties. A pen of cattle is quite close to the house, so little ones definitely shouldn't be unsupervised.

We stayed at Eric's place for my dad's 90th birthday. Great location near his home. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and room for some horseshoes and archery. Enjoyed the BBQ and fire pit. Master and second bedrooms were great for two couples. The third bedroom had bunk beds and a kids bed, which worked ok for an adult but not ideal. Would be awesome if you have kids. We ended up sleeping 5 adults and dad went home for the night. Eric nicely left worms for fishing and even a treat for dad. :-) He was very responsive and helpful during the stay. Great stay, great host.

Darren's place was very pleasant for us. easy to get in, clearly instructions, place was clean no complaints at all. pleasant and quiet neighborhood. I do recommend this place.

Janice is a great host!! Everything was as described and she makes you feel right at home. Communication was great and her and Bob are great to visit with. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to future stays.
