Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Greenland

This was one of the cheapest places I stayed at while in Greenland and yet by far my favorite. The location is great, you see the sea with floating icebergs from the living room windows and it’s right where the hiking trails along the Icefiord start. The place has everything that’s needed and is super cozy. Michelle and her husband reacted quickly when anything was needed. Check-in/-out were flexible. I definitely recommend staying there.

Truly an impressive and amazing locations. You can sit on the verandah and watch icebergs in the water and little boats come and go by. The entire house was spotless with great wi-fi that never faltered i our entire stay. Anders is a terrific host, able to answer all questions I had as well as provide local knowledge and experience to make your holiday memorable. When our flight changed and we were forced to arrive far ahead of schedule he took care of us and made the hectic and stressful nature of flight changes and delays disappear so we could go back to enjoying our holiday. I guarantee that if I ever visit Ilulissat again, I will do my best to stay in one of Anders’ homes again, because it truly makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable and simple.

Mir fehlen die Worte! Bereits beim Ankommen in Qasigiannguit fühlte es sich an wie nach Hause kommen. Die Unterkunft trug ihr übriges dazu bei. Gemütlich, originell, heimelig. Und dem ganzen setzen Laila und Anda noch die Krone auf. Warmherzig, freundlich, offen. Ich durfte acht rundherum gelungene Nächte in Qasigiannguit verbringen. Und werde definitiv wiederkommen. Wer Entertainment, Übermaß an Unterhaltungsangeboten und künstliche Zerstreuung sucht, möge bitte anderswo fündig werden. Wer Grönland in seiner Bandbreite kennenlernen möchte, mit allem Licht und Schatten, sei diese Unterkunft wärmestens empfohlen. Ich habe nicht eine Sekunde bereut! Super cozy hostel! Located on the outskirts of ilulissat it’s calm but still close to the sea and a lovely view for the sunset. It’s nice with a place that’s not exactly in the village, but still close. Also a super helpful host!
