Spectacular! Great amenities. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boat with on site boat ramp. Floating dock. Close to Elkton town center if you need to grab some groceries or want to grab a beer at the local brewery!

Great spot to stay if visiting the eastern area for wineries! They helped us find a shuttle driver for our day and it was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the deck with fire pit for evenings. There was a kitchen but pans were worn and not enough cutting boards, however much better than other air bnbs we have stayed in. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to cook! Lots of games. Would return!!!

Just what I needed…. Sitting on the porch listening to the river, watching the thunderstorm from the front porch, walking barefoot in the holler (I grew up near this house) or eating out at Vinny’s were the highlights to the weekend. There is also a birds nest in the hanging plant. The mama comes and goes. Very entertaining or watching the spider on the side rail spin the web in hopes to catch something good to eat. You have a wonderful place here! So peaceful

My family and I stayed at the Farmhouse this past weekend for a wedding, and the home was everything we needed and more! The kitchen/living/dining area was very open and allowed all of us to be together to relax and hang out with plenty of space. There were really 5 bedrooms, with one being a super comfortable pull out couch. The porches and serene setting of this home made our stay wonderful, even with all the rain! Our family loved it so much we are talking about making another trip to stay out here again! Thank you, Michele, for everything! You were wonderful!

I have stayed at several homes in the local area and Robinson River Retreat did not disappoint. From first inquiry to check-out Laura was very responsive and accommodating with my questions and check-in information. The house is better than the pictures online and descriptions were spot on. I was really impressed by the size of the rooms and even though we didn't have a full house can easily see that 10 people would be very comfortable and not crowded. It was too cold to swim but I did check out the swimming hole across the street. I'm hoping to try it out when the weather is warmer. There is so much to do in the local area, from boundary access hiking SNP to vineyards, local history, activities at Graves Mountain or just chill out and do nothing. We loved staying at this Airbnb! We brought our dog for her first trip ever and knowing that this place was pet friendly and offered a HUGE fully fenced in backyard was amazing! Our dog never wanted to come inside she loved running around so much. We were visiting VA to check out Shenandoah NP and the location was about 20 mins from the park entrance and only 10 mins away from food options in Standardsville and not too far from some wineries too. Absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommended!

Kervin was a fabulous host. we visited the area for my son's graduation and had a great time. The home is beautiful and the surroundings are very peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

Such a warm welcome from our hostess, Wendy! Her place had everything we needed, plus more. She provided us a dozen farm fresh eggs from her 6 chickens 🐓 - so yummy! She provided cookies, wine, and lots of snacks too 😊. Her home is super cozy and spotless! Communication with Wendy was super easy. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure from the shower was excellent. I got to enjoy a beautiful sunset in front of our Airbnb while sitting on a swing. Her garden & deck had lovely flowers and vegetables. We had a family wedding to attend at Guildford Farm. Wendy’s Airbnb was only a 10 minutes walk to the venue - so easy! We had our 15 year old Yorkie-poo with us and she settled in after a few hours. We got to meet her husband, Ron - such a nice gentleman! A perfect place to stay - peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. Bonus — truly one of kindest hostess’ I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you, Wendy & Ron for hosting us!

Great property. Owners left great instructions, and the house was private. The deer were an added bonus with the hot tub. Will be back for the winter. 5 Stars

We had a wonderful getaway at Seths place in Rockingham. Perfect location for a group of 12 girlfriends that wanted to relax. Loved the pool and the porch/patio! Felt like Tuscany. Seth and Carla were extremely responsive to the couple of small issues we had. Definitely recommend.

Chris’ place was a fantastic place to stay and relax with some friends and family. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The place was clean and very enjoyable with the amenities working. The host was very communicative and helpful with any questions we had. Definitely would recommend.

Comfortable beds, super clean hot tub and such a nice place to spend spring break. Excellent communication and very pleasant hosts. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips.

A Great and Wonderful place to relax and unwind. Peaceful surroundings, trickling waterfall, beautiful nature all perfect to rest and disconnect. Plenty to do with trails to hike, lake to fish or kayak (kayaks provided by host), gorgeous super clear swim pond, fire pit, string lights…. Everything was awesome. Met the host in passing, super friendly and hospitable. Great to chat with. Love their vision and execution of their facilities! Loved the farm store which housed delicious treats and some groceries and even fish bait for fishing on their lake. This place has it all! Our kids cried when our mini vacation was over because they didn’t want to leave (neither did we!) Our youngest wanted to sell our house so we could live here and never leave. We will be repeat renters and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for sharing your property with us

We had a wonderful stay at Majestic Meadows. Sandy & Chris were wonderful hosts and the property was a great home away from home, with a beautiful courtyard full of colorful birds, a private pool, and a ton of flowering plants. Close enough to town to not feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but far away enough to feel secluded. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Highly recommend.

Taki's place was perfect for a group of 13. There is plenty of space to spread out in the various houses and outdoor spaces on the property. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for a chilly weekend! The main house was also a great space for all of us to share meals. We also had a great time taking walks around the area - would definitely recommend and book again!

The property was perfect. Plenty of space for my entire family of 9. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The grill is nice and in a good place pretty close to the kitchen too. The neighborhood is super quiet and private. There’s food options and stores nearby just a short drive out of the neighborhood. The hot tub was clean. Just a great stay overall. And Thank you Lisa for having us and being communicative and helpful throughout booking and the Stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! Our family of six (two parents and four kids aged 9 to 12) made incredible memories here. The property was perfect for an active family getaway with plenty of space to spread out and tons to do right on-site. The kids practically lived in the game room and hot tub, and evenings around the firepit were a highlight for all of us. We loved the 4 square volleyball setup which was great for friendly family competition! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also explored two nearby bike trails and a local hiking trail, all easy drives and absolutely worth it. The combination of outdoor adventure and cozy home amenities made this a trip we’ll be talking about for a long time. Highly recommend for any family looking for a fun and active retreat!

Breathtaking views! Fire pit and hot tub were our favorite amenities. The house was very spacious and clean inside. Location was ideal, we were within 30 minutes of wineries, caves, and hiking trails. Communication with Gary was great and he even came to bring us firewood.

Exceeded my expectations! The cabin was so peaceful. It’s ideal if you’re wanting the real rustic cabin feel. No lights out at night, just the stars — it was a beautiful view from the porch. The host and team are really friendly and communicative! The cabin has board games, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of fire wood for the furnace or fire pit just outside the cabin. The ranch has some trails nearby too! We really enjoyed the skeet shooting and horse trail ride! A must-do if you’re staying! We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent location to explore the park. The place is spacious and clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The host is very responsive.

We had a peaceful weekend at the cabin with our kids. Easy drive to Charlottesville, and close to Skyline Drive. We loved the fire pit! Would return.
