Holiday rentals in Greene County

We were very, very pleased with our stay. Shane & Linda accommodated our last minute booking. They were very quick to respond to all of my questions. The home itself is very cute. Love the rustic, country vibe. Sitting on the porch swing, reading, listening to the birds chirping and enjoying nature was just exactly what I needed. The kids enjoyed lounging around, playing the board games provided. This is the first rental we’ve stayed at that actually has COMFORTABLE BEDS!!! The only thing that some people might consider an issue is cell phone/wifi reception is a bit slow and spotty. BUT that is exactly what we needed for this vacation. This made all the kids and adults have to engage and interact without devices. Using the fire pit to make s’mores was one of the highlights. The home itself is clean, comfortable and has a lived in feel that allows you to relax. The kitchen could use a bit more pot/pans selection, but overall, there was a full stock of all necessary items for a home.

My family and i really enjoyed our stay and yes we would stay again i think i might have gotton on Jeff nerves (smile) Jeff was very professional and responded very promt when i reached out to him over all it was a beautiful vacation loved the home. Wilma

This is by far the best one we have stayed at. It was my first time booking myself, but have stayed at plenty that my daughter booked. You could literally eat off the floor. Kelly made us feel very welcome as soon as I reserved it, weeks before I arrived. I am so grateful to her for allowing us to stay there. You get a lot of home for your money.

My favorite place to unplug!This place has everything you need but you will find the best feature in the back along the creek. You feel like you’re a million miles away! Best medicine ever!

The hosts are extremely helpful and very quick to respond. The drive up is quick and easy. The landscaping is beautiful. The cabin is so peaceful with a beautiful screened in porch with string lights that add a very cozy touch. The porch has ample seating and a swing, great for enjoying the sounds of nature and clean air! When you walk in there is an open floor plan, great for mingling with your friends/family. The kitchen is supplied with utensils and appliances making it super accessible to make your own meals. The living room/dining area are beautifully decorated. The seating is comfortable and plentiful. The bathroom is adorable, well stocked and clean. The bedroom has a lot of storage space and very well kept. You melt into the bed and pillows making it feel so luxurious!The easy access laundry room has a large closet for anything you need to hang and a workspace. There are plenty of outlets in every room for easy access. Pleasant neighborhood dog. No problems!!

I can not say enough about how wonderful our experience was at this picturesque cottage! The caring and friendly host, Mary Kay, provided a super clean, comfortable, charming place for us and our three small children to stay. Honestly, we were sad we had to go! The kitchen provided everything needed; whether we cooked a meal, heated up take out, or just wanted a morning cup of coffee before the days’ events. And everything was immaculate and so well kept! Every bed was beautifully made with the softest and cleanest sheets, making all of us feel like we were staying with a caring family member. All our communication with the host, Mary Kay, was kind and she was always available to clarify any questions we had. She was also very knowledgeable of the area and went out of her way to provided information about Greeneville (as we were visiting for the first time.) The view of the river was great, and I loved the sound of it outside. The porch was probably my favorite area. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi made streaming smooth. The home was a little far from Smokey Mountain National Park with the traffic, but if you don’t plan on heading that way, it’s a perfect getaway. One thing I did not realize upon booking was there only being one shower, and it is connected to one of the bedrooms. (I may have missed it in the original listing). It was no big deal for us, but something of note if you prefer to have your own space. The road was a little loud, but again, no biggie. Overall, it was beautiful and check out was pretty standard stuff. The hosts were very communicative.

My husband and I both work in people-centered fields so when we get away, we like very quiet, private places. This place is about as quiet and peaceful as you could find. Sondra is a sweet hostess who enjoys her guests. Very comfortable bed, and there are many lovely restaurants nearby.
