Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Greater Madawaska

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! Beautiful surroundings and a really cozy cottage. Everything is as advertised and the host provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to questions. The place has everything you need to spend a few relaxing days. My only regret is not staying for more days :)

We were a masters xc ski team in for some races and the House and Host were amazing. The house was cozy; they had the fire going for our arrival and the kitchen was set up to cook for our large group. The host was very attentive to help us get to where we needed to go during the snow storm, digging us out every day. The house had a wonderful character about it and made us all feel comfortably at home. We will rent this place again for our next trip/race to the area.

Beautiful Airbnb! The space is very nice and clean and big! We came to visit for a bridal shower with all my sisters and we had plenty of room! Excellent Airbnb!

What a beautiful, cozy, and peaceful place! We absolutely loved our short stay at the farmhouse - comfortable, bright, full of inspiring art, and equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful stay, plus little touches that made it all the better, from soft blankets to wrap up in on the porch, to the cinnamon buns, croissants, and eggs from the farm's very own chickens. A peaceful atmosphere surrounded by woods and wildflowers, but just a few minutes from shops and restos in Wakefield, and a short drive from Ottawa-Gatineau. Also: bonus friendly farm cats that kept us company! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely place with us, we would love to come back.

Had a wonderful weekend at the lodge, can’t wait to go back! Cindy thought of every little thing, all the extra little details were perfect and so thoughtful.

Sandor made us feel welcome right away! He was also very quick to reply to any and every message, and he made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Our room was clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was very tasty. Location was perfect too. Close to so many good hiking trails and lakes. I would definitely stay here again!

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

I had a fantastic stay at Scott's Airbnb! He was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we had an issue with the pool lights in the evening, Scott promptly came over to assist, which we greatly appreciated. His communication and dedication made our experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying with Scott and would definitely book again!

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! Our stay was perfect! Monica and Richard was wonderful hosts. The house was extremely clean and cozy. And thanks to the calmness of the surrounding we had great sleep. We couldn’t ask for more!

Wonderful, bright, clean, and super cool loft. Everything was perfect right down to the big fluffy towels. Walking distance to groceries, shops, and restaurants. Safe, quiet, and secure building. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Nick has a host!

Kate's place is quite lovely and provides an opportunity to be a part of Glen Tay Valley history. The Garden's are beautiful and sitting in the summer house is a treat. Great place for reading a book with a glass of wine in hand. Our dog loves it there too as he can watch the bird life by the Tay river. Kate's digs are a great spot for resting in between adventures in the Perth area. Absolutely charming. It was our third time back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tiffany's Airbnb cottage, and I can confidently say it was a delightful experience. From start to finish, everything about my stay was seamless and enjoyable. First and foremost, the cottage itself is charming and well-maintained. It was evident that Tiffany takes great pride in her property. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a clean and inviting space, which made me feel right at home. The cozy decor and thoughtful touches added to the overall ambiance, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Communication with Tiffany was excellent throughout my stay. She was quick to respond to any questions I had and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to help made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s always reassuring to have a host who is accessible and genuinely cares about the guest experience.

We had a great stay in Monica's space! It was comfortable, cozy, and quiet, and the kitchen and bathrooms especially had a thoughtful selection of items you might need while on a trip. When we needed something during our stay, Monica was proactive and helpful. She's also kind and friendly, and she communicated with us while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. The home itself is walking distance to the downtown area, and it was great to be able to explore the cute shops on foot. We really felt the hospitality and would stay again!

Our stay at the Tiny Village, Dome was absolutely wonderful! The space was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The shower was a standout feature--modern and refreshing--while the large deck provided the perfect spot to savor our morning coffee, all while taking in the breathtaking view. One of the best parts of our visit was how dog-friendly the place is. We never travel without our 2 little Shih Tzu's, and seeing them enjoying themselves, made our experience even more special. Knowing that our pup's were welcome was a huge bonus for us! The dock on the water below the Dome was a fantastic addition to the getaway. Even though the water in May was a bit chilly, it didn’t stop a few of us from jumping in! Luckily, the cozy campfire afterward made for the perfect way to warm up. The Dome is an absolute gem-offering relaxation, nature, and unforgettable moments. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway

Prunella No.4 A-frame cabin is a gem. Nancy and Catherine are amazing hosts - they provided everything we needed to feel at home. They even had all the amenities for our pup, including a dog bed and bowls, which was a thoughtful touch. Their attention to detail, from the property, to the decor and lights inside and outside the cabin, the dock and everything at the lake, was perfect and made our stay a 5 star experience. We loved exploring the trails and taking the kayak and paddleboard out. We look forward to going back already.

very private cabin and location, beautiful scenery, comfortable indoor space, super friendly, helpful hosts, and hands down the cleanest, best smelling outhouse I've ever come across. I loved the linens which were super soft, clean, and cozy. the kitchen was well equipped with complimentary coffee+sugar, mini creamer cups, dishes, stove, bbq and everything you'd need to use them. Fire pit is more secure than pictured wood provided, and kindling that lit up like matchsticks. they also make fresh maple syrup so bring $5.00 for a good size container (interaction free). not a thing missing!
