Holiday rentals with lake access in Great Rift Valley

We were very happy with our 12-day stay! Moses did a great job!

Joan is an amazing person. Always helping us around in whatever way possible. She made sure we had wonderful and enjoyable stay. Not to forget, the security guard and the housing keeping guy in the names of Mr Lucky who is such an amazing people. He would go to shop and bring us whatever we wanted. We are so thankful for all these amazing people with great hospitality. I truly recommend this Villa and I would use it next time.

December 2924 I had a warm and beautiful stay at the Exquisite. It is exquisite indeed! Very spacious, and you have a beautiful view of Lake Victoria. Phelyx has outstanding security measures. Not far from the Airport thus made trips to and from the airport easier since I had to go back Mombasa as well. I felt very safe at the Exquisite. Phelyx and his Caretaker Christiano were very attentive and responded swiftly whenever I needed anything. He has a boda boda guy that can do grocery shopping for you as well. That was very convenient 👍🏾 I miss the fresh mangoes already 😃 Thank you Phelyx and look forward to booking with you again. Happy New Year to you and your family 🎉

A beautiful place for our family, the kids are already asking when we're going back. The A/C was a blessing after a long hot day! Highly recommend!

Tutto perfetto, casa pulita e ordinata, ben arredata, acqua calda ottima, c'è sicurezza al cancello e una signora che gestisce le pulizie. Avuto anche servizio lavanderia rapidissimo. La signora mi ha indicato un driver di fiducia e i ristoranti. Unica nota negativa mancava il sapone in casa ma mi era stato detto in anticipo. C'è una moschea nelle vicinanze che fa il richiamo alla preghiera molto rumoroso durante la notte e tanti cani che abbaiano, ma ovviamente l'host non può farci nulla e in Uganda sono cose comuni.

We enjoyed our stay. The building and appliances are brand new so the apartment feels very fresh and clean. There are good views of the lake and the compound feels very secure. It's a fairly long, but pleasant, walk to the main road, but it's not difficult to get a boda-boda (motorbike taxi) ride if preferred. The hosts were good communicators and met us on arrival to show us around. We would stay there again.

We had a great stay at Immaculate's place, everything went well from the check in to the check out, she was even kind enough to accommodate a late check out for us. Highly recommend the place.

Die Wohnung war sehr gut, die Küche könnte ein paar Löffel und Gabeln vertragen, alles in allem top! Wir haben die botanische Gartenbesucht, den Mall, den Markt und haben einen Angelnausflug auf Viktoriasee gemacht. Es war sehr schön!

Diana's place is perfection! the gated community is beautiful and peaceful. The apartment looks just as pictured, beautiful decor! The hosts have truly thought of everything! The communication and instructions were clear and thorough. I ecspecially appreciated the AC, rechargable night lights, children's table/dishes, crib, and games available. The host even left a thoughtful note with chocolate for mother's day. We will definitely be back!

Even in very mixed weather, we had a great stay in Cecilias house. What we love is the style of the house, the pool, and that its right on the beach. The maid Rosie is very attentive as well as Cecilia who is very flexible and communicative. Looking forward to return:)

I really wouldn’t review because I would want to keep it a secret, but the place is great. I believe I also got a discount from the normal rate. I had to switch Airbnb locations in the middle of the night and it went smoothly and quickly.

Die Hunde des Nachbarn die öfter mal vorbeikommen sind nett und wohlerzogen. Die Affen weniger aber selten kein essen draußen liegen lassen. Alles aber gut händelbar.

Evie’s cottage was absolutely delightful. We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful quiet and relaxed time. The cottage is set up really beautifully and comfortably. Nothing amis. Extremely cozy and welcoming. Elijah was always on hand to help if anything was needed or if we had any questions as was Evie. There are heaps of places to visit and eat at around the area and it’s truly a gorgeous piece of Nairobi. The farm area inside the compound was great to explore and we even got fresh milk milked that afternoon. Absolutely recommend this cottage 100% and we will certainly be back! Evie was absolutely lovely and gave us such a lovely welcome, we felt right at home. Thank you so much!

Had a lovely stay. We felt comfortable and safe. The water dispenser with fresh water and filter coffee maker were a huge bonus. It also has 3 bedrooms and not just 2 bedrooms and had plenty of space. The hippos came to visit us for 2 nights of our stay, we could hear them munching the grass just outside. Security gate for safety and plenty of space to relax inside and out.

We enjoyed our stay at Geoffrey’s home. The compound is beautiful and provided a wonderful place for our children to play. The caretaker, John, was extremely helpful and provided us directions to the property. Of note, a larger vehicle is likely needed in order to get to this property as some of the roads are a bit tough to navigate. The home was clean, decorated nicely, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We would absolutely stay here again if we are passing through the area. Thanks for the hospitality!

There’s few places I’ve visited that felt like home. I felt that Hamish and Lindsay put time and effort in ensuring their guests were super comfortable and had everything they needed to enjoy their holiday in Watamu. They provided snorkelling gear, mozzie spray, sunscreen and lots of interesting board games to play. Not to mention my fave Ottolenghi recipe book for some inspo. We really appreciated their well stocked kitchen and library. The house is perfect with several places to meditate and take in the sounds of the ocean. Nora and Arnold are excellent and lovely people who really added to the charm of the place. My 1yr old son loved the kitty’s and all the monkeys, Guinea fowl and monarch butterflies everywhere. When I come to Watamu next, it’ll be to stay at Hamish place.

Ayele was such a great host, her place is just fantastic in all ways, quiet, peaceful, every one was helpful, everything you need was available,I relaxed ,enjoyed the lake views, felt right at home, I'd definitely go back for a longer stay. Thanks Ayele

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Jacqui’s property. It was well-maintained and very clean. It was very close to the town, but also had a serene and peaceful aspect. We enjoyed going to the river, barely 5 minutes from the house. Janet was a very responsive host and could answer questions whenever needed. We would visit again soon!
