The house is a little paradise overlooking the Creek and mangrove. all rooms are amazing and Chef Henry's food was excellent. I would recommend it without a doubt

This place is definitely worth your time looking at. I thought I’d miss being right at the beach, but honestly, we looked forward to coming ‘home’ to Joseph and David and the calm, quiet, cool of Ruby House. We spent time reading, playing games, reconnecting and resting, as well as swimming and bobbing in the creek - listening and watching birds. It is so peaceful - chatting with fishermen, and just taking in the surroundings. We went for a few day trips- the Gede ruins are well worth an hour of your time, sand dunes north of malindi were great. And we LOVED Garoda Beach - much less seaweed and less busy. I could not speak more highly of the staff - they were present but not, flexible, understanding and really wanted to help make your time enjoyable. The rooms were so comfortable. I think it may be a little hot in the very hot month, but it gets a lovely breeze and there is always the one room to escape into for an afternoon nap if necessary - but we didn’t need to do this. Great place to stay - right on the beach but private, so not bothered by the endless vendors. The staff were lovely and helpful. very clean and tidy. loved being able to have an AC to sleep at night. My only request was that it would be so helpful to have a water machine, as it was very hot and having to lug big bottles of water was a pain.

The house was cozy and very private in an idyllic location steps from the beach. The staff, Elizabeth and Duca are wonderful and made our stay so comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back.

Wesa Beach House is a terrific, secluded stay in the heart of the Swahili coast. Definitely recommended. The house: is well cared for, and linens, fixtures, and the house itself is well maintained against the sea air. We comfortably slept 3 adults in separate rooms and 4 young children. The staff: Charles and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Incredibly responsive, on time, and proactively communicate. The food every day was incredible (with surprises like crab pizza!). We enjoyed the massages as well. Everyone went above and beyond to take good care of us. The pool: beautiful temperature--we spent hours swimming every day The beach: Wesa House is the only modern house on the beach. However the beach is a busy local fishing area, with the bustle of the fish trade. The beach does have a good amount of seaweed, but just a few feet into the reef it's a gorgeous clear-water swim in knee-deep water. It was perfect for our young kids.

The beach cottage was absolutely amazing. My mum and I had an amazing three nights and we loved every second of it. The cottage is right next to the beach but the best beaches are about 10mins walk and another is about 10mins with the uber boats. Julius and Fondo made us delicious Swahili meals and their hospitality was top notch. Lamu is nothing like any other beaches in Kenya…it’s a must visit!

Had a great stay. Food was amazing… Tom and his crew did such a great job and were very friendly. The location was very private and so peaceful. The weather is of course hot, but the architecture really allows so much breeze to flow through plus all the rooms had fans. Would be glad to come again!

This was such a lovely little getaway! We are coming back in August with friends and can’t wait! The photos don’t do it justice! It’s a Swahili paradise! Margaret went above and beyond! Ilya has decorated the house in a simple, yet homey Swahili style! Everything was just as described! We ate at the restaurants in walking distance, enjoyed the beach and pool and just chilled and relaxed at the house! Perfection!

I had an amazing stay at Ayan’s place for three days with my family. It was exactly as described, and Ayan went above and beyond to make our experience special. She provided great recommendations for local areas and activities to explore. She was very understanding and gracious. Ayan was always available to help, and she answered my calls immediately whenever I needed assistance. The space is also very comfortable and accessible for elderly guests with fast lifts and direct access to the beach. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in North coast Mombasa!

Our stay just couldn’t be better! Nina’s place is a little paradise, the house is very spacious and clean, with a lot of areas to hang and relax. The pool was definitely a highlight for me, it was so nice to start the day with the swim and also to read a book floating on a mattress. The house is located a short walk to island’s most beautiful beach Shela and also just 5 min from the harbor. But all this would not be the same without chef’s Daniel fresh and local cooking. He treated us with fresh seafood dishes every day and his cooking was way better than any of the restaurants on the island. Already planning my return and can get boy recommend this place to anybody traveling to Lamu.

A beautiful relaxing spot that is near the beach and private. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. A clean house!

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay with family of 5. The owner responded quickly, send us very detailed information of all you need to know and arranged pick up at Mombasa airport. The staff is very friendly, helpful and at the same time gives you privacy. Reuben the chef provided us splendid meals, we especially enjoyed all the fresh seafood!Recommended is to do shopping before arrival because bigger supermarkets are 40 minutes drive away. Fruits, vegetables, water, fish, soda’s are easy to get in the village but for more luxurious groceries you have to go to the bigger supermarkets. You can book the pick up from the airport with a shopping stop in Nyali. Neen Tree is a lovely family house with marvellous view and direct access to the ocean. A friendly monkey family lives on the property and are fun to watch. Besides the pool we loved going snorkelling on the rif using the equipment from the house. For transport we used Tsuma with a comfortable 7 seater which we used for a Kilifi trip.

What a beautiful beautiful place. The pictures don’t do the house justice and Tiwi is a beach that is still as gorgeous as it was 30 years ago. No beach boys, no grief just lovely people everywhere. We snorkelled, swam in the pool, swam in the sea, played on the beach, rock pool hunted on the reef. Saw amazing starfish, moray eel, box fish and 3 types of sea hare as well as the “usual stuff”. We missed turtles hatching by 24 hours, but watched one come up to lay her eggs . The perfect place to spend a few days with the family chilling, talking and reconnecting. The verandah at the front is the best hub place. Then food - Anthony creates magic in the kitchen. Fresh fish, fruit and his tempura squid with coriander and soy sauce was delish. Fred the taxi driver is great and as a mixed family of 6 we could be as active and busy or not as we chose. The best way to end a trip to Kenya and as a previous resident it was perfect -Asante Tanya xx

I love this bnb! this was my 2nd stay and won't be the last. whenever am traveling to mombasa this is my go to spot. the bnb is beautiful the decor is kool unique and stylish . the seller is the view!! it's what really draws me there each time. loaded with amenities pretty much everything you can think of is there. very comfortable sofa seating and bed. I literally have no complaints the only thing that could make it better is if it was in a more happening area but it's easy to get around with ubers. the host is amazing she always gets back to me with any concerns and rectified them. she definitely takes wanting us to have a good experience serious. pro tip . there is a store nearby on called food plus where you can get cases of water, snacks and even food stuff for cooking. the big thing is there is also a pharmacy and atm in that same Plaza. good to know because there is not an atm at the premises where you'll stay. cash is king.

Our group of 5 was comfortably accommodated and spent so much time in the beautiful open treehouse upstairs. Even during the rain we were kept nice and dry upstairs. We enjoyed the food made by the private chef and all the staff were very accommodating and responsive! Visits from the dogs on the property were such a lovely addition. We felt very at home and would love to come back sometime, especially during another season when the swimming is better. Bonus - the sunsets from the gazebo around the corner from the beach were spectacular. Make sure you take advantage of the beautiful grounds and walks around the area!

Absolutely beautiful! Location is perfect. The house is stunning, with plenty of space for large groups, a lovely pool and breathtaking view. The staff were amazing and took great care of us. An unforgettable holiday!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

Casa di Lilli is a gem! Our stay at Elisabetta's beautiful house beat all of our expectations. The location is fantastic! It is a real beach house with a wonderful deck and amazing view of the beach and sea. A perfect place where we could unwind, relax and swim in the wonderful sea. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, well taken care of and very clean. Good kitchen and kitchen utensils if you want to cook your own food. Several good and nice restaurants are right next door. Throughout the stay, we were incredibly well taken care of by Theresa, a wonderful woman who cleaned and tidy for us and was always available if we needed anything, thank you for your care! A huge thank you to Abdul for your help arranging things for us and fixing what we needed help with, as well as nice and informative conversations! Thank you Elisabetta for letting us stay in your lovely house and for a consistently very good communication! We wish we will sometime come back to this paradise. Thank you!

Lovely home—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Great location and very comfortable stay. The host was kind and responsive. Only thing I would recommend is a sign because it was pretty hard for the taxi to find us. I’m already planning on coming back next year with my family hopefully this house is available!

Beautiful home in a beautiful area! Staff was all very friendly and easy to communicate with. Very much appreciated the security guard on the beach in front of the house to make our experience more peaceful as well!
