We had an absolutely fantastic time here. Would highly recommend. The house was spotless, very well kept. The beds were all extremely comfortable, all with fresh linen. The view was amazing. The house is right on the water. The gardens and estate was an excellent place to go for a wander and explore. Paul was an excellent host. We cant wait to come back again

La maison de John est superbe. Tout y est prévu pour que vous vous sentiez à l’aise dans une ambiance cosy et chaleureuse. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. D’un calme et d’une beauté incroyables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La cheminée est un super plus ! Nous avons profité de tous les avantages de la maison, sauna et balnéothérapie, c’était vraiment très appréciable. Tomas, le concierge, était vraiment super sympathique, disponible et utile pour nous conseiller sur les atouts de la péninsule de Beara et les restaurants. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir rapidement chez John ! Nous recommandons +++++++ sa belle demeure ! Merci !

We had a lovely stay at Nina & Noel’s place! Even though the place was small, it was cozy and nicely decorated with wooden carvings by Noel. We met Noel when we arrived, and he was very attentive and open. Noel and Nina were very quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything. Noel was always up for a chat and tips for local activities. The apartment is nice and quiet, with lovely views of the surrounding valley, and a short drive away from Bantry. The sauna was great as well after a long day of hiking. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Nina and Noel’s place if you’re looking for a quiet, cosy holiday surrounded by nature and friendly people! (And two outside cats) 🐈‍⬛🌳 Thank you Noel and Nina for a wonderful stay!

Très bien situé proche du centre, maison très agréable.

We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.

We had a lovely stay and felt very safe. The house was lovely and spacious. Very comfortable beds and very quiet. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. Blathnaid was a great host and responded to a question from us within minutes.

This was our second time staying at Brigit’s and this time we made sure the whole family came along with Jim our dog. The most beautiful and magical place that we all enjoyed so much. We will be back again!

A truly beautiful house with amazing views. The pictures don't do it justice. Swimming Pond and Sauna an added bonus. Extremely peaceful and everything needed in the house. A 2 minute walk into Glenbeigh for Pub, shop, restaurants. Great accommodation. Check in easy and instructions and information on hand.

The Airbnb was clean fresh and inviting. The scones with the jam was an additional perfect touch. Also, the fireplace was wonderful, especially with the cold, damp weather. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully restored stone cottage which has been both thoughtfully and practically designed. Comfortable, clean, bright and warm with and wood stove for colder months.z Kitchen kitted with all u need and essentials left in the kitchen. Has a washer/dryer which is great as place is close to an abundance of beautiful beaches and walks. Near fab pubs in Castlegregory and amazing local pizza take away You do need a car here really but other than that everything is simple and perfect and Id stay a lifetime and will be back

Our check-in was bumpy. We didn’t get check-in instructions until after check-in time (and that was after promoting for info the evening before). To check-in, you need to call the local “host”/turnover contact and to let them know when you’ll be picking up the keys from them (down the road from the Airbnb). The owner and main contact doesn’t live in Ireland. We called and the place wasn’t ready. Had to wait 2 hrs and kill time in Dingle where we needed to shop for perishable groceries. We asked if laundry detergent was provided. The owner said there would be if the previous guests hadn’t used it up. That didn’t instill confidence, so we bought laundry detergent, toilet paper and bath soap (and needed all but laundry detergent). Once we checked in, all was smooth and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect for a number of walks and lookout points. And it’s an easy drive to other hikes. Despite the early bumps, we’d love to return again and would highly recommend.

Das Haus liegt wunderschön oberhalb der Bantry Bay. Sehr individuell und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der Garten ist liebevoll gepflegt und gut nutzbar. Die Landschaft rund um White Water lädt zum Wandern ein. Vom Knockboolteenag hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf die Bantry Bay und Dunmanus Bay. Sheep’s Head und Mizen Head sind gut zu erreichen und auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert. Gavin‘s Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen, er ist als Gastgeber top. Danke für die schönen Tage bei Dir.

John is a wonderful host… so helpful and welcoming. The cottage is peaceful and serene, in a wonderful location to visit many attractions and beautiful areas of Ireland. We appreciated the breakfast items they provided from their dairy farm!!

Amazing house. So quiet, so clean….but the view is the best part. Even with a little bit of clouds, you could still see the hills of Killarney. It is a 15-20 minute drive/ride from the main city center for those late night bar hoppers. We had trouble with the washing machine, but Nora responded immediately and had it fixed with in 5 minutes.

Catherine and Liam welcomed us v warmly, lots of suggestions for sightseeing and hanging out in the local pub. The cottage was lovely and peaceful with the cows right outside the window. They were v quick to respond and help us out. We recommend staying here and we’ll probably be back 😉

The three of us walked in the door after two weeks of traveling and immediately felt at home. Paula’s place was beautiful inside and out. So many quality touches and her hospitality cannot be matched. We were greeted with a homemade (still warm) apple pie! Her home looked great in the photos, but even better in person. It was so clean! The bathrooms, kitchen and floors were pristine. Everything in the home was perfectly curated. She has an eye for colors and decor. She was responsive and had a book with recommendations, maps and instructions. We were lucky enough to meet Paula and she is truly a warm and inviting person. Our stay at her house was the highlight of our 18 day trip to Ireland.

Great location for exploring waterville, valentia island, port magee, derrynane beach. The house is a short drive to waterville where they are lots of pubs & restaurants. The view from the living room in the house is amazing, I would of sat there all day! ❤️ Paul provided lots of information before our stay which was very handy and communication was smooth throughout. Defo recommend!

Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr stielvoll eingerichtet. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Wir waren eine Nacht hier und haben die Ruhe und die Aussicht sehr genossen. Vielen Dank.

Exceeded all expectations. The photos don’t do the location justice. The views are simply the best! Perfect location for exploring the locality, lovely hikes around. The house had everything you would need for a weekend , only wish we could have stayed longer.

Had the best stay! It’s such a gem and in such a scenic part of the country. Cathy and Patrick were extremely welcoming and so helpful, would definitely recommend!

Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this stay. Karen was so kind and the space was beautiful- perfect for our family trip, within 12 min of downtown, lots of yummy restaurants in the area. This stay is definitely a highlight of our trip.

Caroline picked us up from the bus and was kind enough to show us the area. This house was so beautiful and comfortable with an amazing view from the front deck. We will recommend it to all our friends and family. We did not need a car. We could easily walk everywhere. Thank you Caroline for exceeding our expectations.

Our stay at this beautiful home was truly memorable for the whole family! There was a large amount of space for everyone to relax, and the modern amenities made our visit incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the peaceful, quiet location with its stunning mountain views. The house is perfectly situated for exploring, with easy driving access to both Dingle and Killarney National Park. Our host's recommendations were fantastic – we thoroughly enjoyed dinner and the Irish dance show at Kerry Cottage, and lunch at Riva was a highlight with its beautiful mountain and lake views. A unique touch was the host providing fishing rods, allowing us to fish at the nearby lake within walking distance. We would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a fantastic family getaway!

Eine tolle Unterkunft, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es war als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Touren durch Kerry perfekt. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter.
