Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Luxury yurt glamping at Littlegrove

Nestled in an olive grove with views over Bruny Island’s famous Fluted Cape, our yurts offer the ultimate romantic glamping experience, with private bathroom and cooking facilities and an outdoor bath and fire pit for star gazing. Each yurt is furnished with vintage wares collected from all over the world, an internal wood fire, timber floors, and wool lined walls for cosy nights. Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.

Cosy up by the fire, read a book from the cottage library, indulge in some delicious local produce and enjoy the abundant birdlife and wonderful ocean views. Set on two acres, you can wander and explore the gardens, relax in the new barrel sauna and admire the beautiful wildlife.

The Bruny Boathouse is nestled on the waterfront with panoramic views across d'Entrecasteaux Channel, Satellite Island & Hartz Mountain propped up in the background. Centrally located in the township of Alonnah on the western side of Bruny Island, The Boathouse is an ideal place to base yourself for everything that Bruny has to offer. Huon Valley View Cabin near Cygnet

Private, self-contained cabin in the Huon Valley close to Cygnet (7 min), Bruny Island & Hobart (50 min), Hartz Mountain National Park & World Heritage Area (1 hr). Bush surrounds, stunning views of the Huon River & Hartz mountains. Beaches, bushwalking, markets, relax by the fire or on the deck & admire the view. Markets every week in the valley, including the Cygnet market 1st & 3rd Sunday of the mth, Willie Smith's Artisan & Farmers Market every Saturday, 10-1.

The Hide - Private Waterfront Bruny Island.

Experience the feeling of calm when you turn onto the winding private road that takes you to The Hide. Surrounded by forest, and set on the waterfront, the Hide provides an elegant refuge for couples. In a national park like setting and situated centrally, it is the perfect base for exploring popular Bruny Island. With so much to do on the property, as well as wider afield, we recommend a 2-3 night stay if you can fit it into your schedule.

Surrounded by hills, apple orchards and cow paddocks. You have views across the water to Bruny Island. There are vineyards and distilleries close by. Simple, but modern and comfortable styling. It is warm, quiet and private and a perfect base for you to explore Southern Tasmania.
