Surfer's Studio - Great Barrier Island

At this peaceful and centrally-located , sleep out cabin, 15 minutes drive from the airport and general store, just 20 minutes walk to Okupu Beach. The cabin has a bunk bed, double on the bottom and a single on top. There's a 2 element gas cooker with griller and kitchen ware. The toilet is a long drop. There's a kitchen sink with hose connection next to the room. For hot showers, guests are able to use the bathroom in the main house just 1 minute walk around the corner. Phone charger.

ISLAND GIN BACH. MEDLANDS BEACHFRONT. This cottage is where Island Gin was born. Andi Ross, first experimented distilling gin here in 2017. A lot has changed since then. In fact everything as the cottage has been totally renovated and is 88 steps to the dunes. With sea glimpses, watch the sunrise over the Pacific and see it set from the architecturally awarded "Wetland Folly." The Island Gin cottage is perfect for a couple, however a separate double bedroom is available by arrangement.

A 'Kiwi As' family Bach. Two bedrooms, living and dining room with a pot belly to keep things warm for winter. Kitchen has an oven and stove top and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has an excellent shower. Solar panels operate the lights and water pump, otherwise there is no electricity. Phone reception is great for vodaphone, and on the deck for spark.
