Great place to stay. Nice and easy to find. Very nice to have a whole house. Suited the three of us very well. Even had a Deliveroo delivery as well. Great communication from the host aswell. Highly recommend

The place was pristine, beautiful home. right on the beachfront, offstreet parking oppersite the house. Sums it up, couldn't ask for more. The host was also proactive with clear instructions ahead of time and responsive when messaged. would recommend to anyone visiting Southend-on-Sea.

Stayed at Lucy’s Place and really enjoyed it. The Victorian house has so much character, love the high ceilings and old-school charm. The bed was comfy and I actually slept better than I expected. It’s close to the High Street and many beautiful landmarks. Lucy was super friendly and quick to reply when I had questions. Felt like she genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable. Would definitely stay again if I’m back in Rochester!

Robert was a great host and quick to fix any minor issues. Super house in a quiet area. I was working in the area but if you are a bird watcher there is lots to do. The local pub was very welcoming too. The loo is downstairs which may worry some but was fine with us. The garden was dog friendly as it was fully enclosed. The decor is super stylish.

Paul and Angela's cottage was perfect for our short stay. The location is in a very quiet location yet within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit in Greenwich and near great transport links to Central London. The cottage itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As mentioned in other reviews there is a narrow spiral staircase as clearly shown in the pictures but our 6 year old managed this just fine and we were able to take our cases up. Paul and Angela answered any queries quickly and were kindly able to accommodate requests to leave luggage at the cottage pre/post check in/out times so we could make the most of our short stay. We would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

Lovely, peaceful hidden gem

Having stayed at The Nook before , I was delighted to secure another visit . Donatella and Dan are exceptional hosts . Responsive and incredibly hospitable . The Nook was as idyllic and private as I remembered it . Flooded with light , extremely comfortable and finished to a very high standard. I highly recommend a Nook stay , it’s a real sanctuary. This is a fabulous Airbnb, clean, comfortable and stylishly done. The pool area is beautiful and I have my eye on the cabana for a future stay. We loved the private courtyard and the friendly duck...the hot tub was a bonus. We didn’t have a car so looked for a place with a train station close by…this is just a 10 minute taxi ride from the local station so ideal for us. It has a calm, peaceful vibe but just a few mins walk to the local pub. Great for me and my daughter but would be brilliant for groups if you rent out the other cottages. Sarah was really responsive and proactive. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

How to start?? I would highly recommend Charles' place! When you get there and go up the stairs, you might think it's not going to be good. However, when you open the door you'll be taken back as to how beautiful his place is!! I felt right at home! Charles had wine, milk, OJ, bread and eggs. The sleigh bed was not only comfy but so pretty. He had great darkening curtains which also serve as a divider from the living room. The shower was welcoming. If I come back to London, I'd stay at Charles' place!

We had such a lovely stay at Isla’s Den! The space was beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches—it felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We stayed with our 8-month-old and two cockapoos, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The easy access to fields and nearby walks made it a dream for the dogs (and us!). Adam was a great host—friendly and responsive. We’d absolutely love to come back. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is beautiful, stylish and comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and the attention to detail really made it feel like a luxury stay (fluffy towels, soft bed linen, high-end toiletries etc). The garden and pool were gorgeous and we really enjoyed relaxing in those spaces and spotting the wildlife (woodpeckers, squirrels, kestrels). We had total privacy but the owners were incredibly accommodating and responsive if we needed them. A five star stay in close reach of farm shops, pubs, a winery, national trust properties and shopping.

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

We had a lovely stay at Dom’s place. The location is perfect for a couple of days’ break from London, especially if - like us - you don’t drive; it is just a short distance from the station and for a 40 minute journey from zone 1, feels a world away. Dom was very accommodating, especially as we brought our 3 month old baby. The baby enjoyed his first ever swim in the lovely warm pool! And the rest of the amenities/ the hut itself are equally excellent. Would also highly recommend a trip to the Samuel Palmer pub for a pint of locally brewed ale, and the Mount Vineyard for some excellent wines, both of which are a short walk from the hut. Would definitely stay again, thanks Dom!

Ousman was honestly the nicest and most helpful host I’ve ever met whilst using Airbnb. Anything we needed, he was on hand to bring it to us without hesitation! The apartment itself is stunning and looks just like the photos. Ousman has the place kitted out with snacks too! Highly recommend and would 100% stay again.
