Our Retreat -in a country setting.

Private- apartment in the lower level of our house. House in a rural setting- you may spot white tail deer or other wildlife.Enjoy the peaceful tranquil setting.We are within 5 minutes by car to Rte 70 and shopping centers. Our space isn't childproof. Workout equipment available for use at your own risk. We control the HVAC and will adjust as requested. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the walk to the entrance. Non smoking. We aren't set up fir heavy cooking. No stove.

Located in the heart of Old Ellicott City! This studio is warm, cozy and decorated with almost all vintage furnishings to pay tribute to the 1800s home. The space offers a well stocked bedroom, full bathroom and kitchenette. Relax on the patio or walk to the many cafes and shops on Main Street. Parking is included. The home is built into a hill so you will need to walk up a series of steps in the back from the parking area to enter. Due to this our home may not be ideal for everyone.

A quiet, restful retreat.

This is an in-law suite with private entrance attached to our home in a quiet neighborhood. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with sofa bed, bathroom and bedroom with queen bed and sofa bed. Folding baby crib (pack n play) with sheets and blankets available. There is a foldable single bed also available. We are an hour away from D.C. and Dulles Airport and 30 minutes away from Baltimore and BWI Airport. Street parking is available.

I told Althea, and I'll say it again: for the money, this is probably the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. The exterior and surrounding neighborhood are humble, but what you find inside is an immaculately clean and well-maintained apartment including kitchenette, living room with television, bedroom with comfortable bed and bedding, bathroom with shower and laundry facilities. All necessary supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, coffee for the Keurig coffee maker, bath towels etc., are fully stocked. All appliances are in good working order. I live in California, but both my daughters reside in the greater Baltimore area. For visits, I plan to make Althea's Airbnb my go to place.

The first thing you'll notice is how clean the place is. Conveniently located near major roads, free parking in the parking lot of the complex. Very comfortable bed. The host, Nani, was great, gave clear check-in instructions, was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. The bedroom and bathroom are right by the front door, where there's a shoe cabinet with a dedicated section for guests. Nani likes to give guests their privacy so I only saw her once. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy 1 Bedroom Guesthouse

If you want to have a couple retreat days with your love one, family or friends this is the place. But be advised there's no Internet connection for those that think they will not survive with it, hehe. The dome and tents are cool and big enough. The guest house (where I stayed) is great, but my personal opinion is that if you have a family with small children that are active the space is kind of tight for them to be playing around. For a family of 4 (2 adults 2 teens) will work great or 4 friends. As the Airbnb stated, you need to cooked outside on the grill or buy, there's no kitchen or kitchennet inside. Small fridge and a microwave. They have kitchen ware but I recommend you bring disposable plates, cups etc since there's no sink to wash them. I was looking for something peaceful, surround by nature, no hassle and Carmen's place provide that. You will find everything else fast food, convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants etc from 10-15 minutes distance.
