Cabin holiday rentals in Grand Traverse County

Great place to stay! Quaint cabin that encourages spending quality time with others and is an escape from reality. Cabins close to the road definitely get road noise, but as city dwellers it did not bother us at all! Well worth it.

It ended up just being my husband and I and it was wonderful. We wished we'd been able to stay longer. The hot tub was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.

My husband, dog and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend getaway at Darren’s AirBnB. It’s close to nearby Leland/Fish Town, wineries, and trails, and only a 30 minute scenic drive to downtown Traverse City. The views are breathtaking and the cabin itself is beautiful. Spending the evenings/nights in the hot tub and making s’mores by the fire, all while being surrounded by the peaceful woods overlooking the lake, simply cannot be beat. We will definitely be back!

Would definitely stay here again! Beautiful area- right on the lake, quiet and peaceful, heard elk from a far…etc. It was 25 min away from downtown but the hot tub and bonfire provided entertainment. Loved the house!

Wonderful surroundings and cozy, comfortable accommodations. Loved having lake access. Husband loves to fish. Pontoons were a bit pricey for just the two of us so we opted for the Discovery boat tour in town. That was awesome and learned alot about the area. Fished from the dock, took in Sleep Bear dunes, so fascinating. Great restaurants in town. Love the area.

the stay at the maple cabin was very amazing very clean and the cozy cabin was amazing, I would recommend the stay. if you need ideas or recommendations for where to go Becky definitely knows the area and gave a great breakfast place. during the stay we got to be in the snow fall which made everything look amazing!!

Absolutely one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Lisa and her husband are amazing hosts - friendly and responsive. The cabin has wonderful touches that make it feel like a home. It was impressively well stocked, clean and with a lovely view of the water. We’ll be back for sure!

We were there for my daughter’s wedding, on a lake, only 4 miles away. This location was perfect and the accommodations were wonderful! We will definitely return!

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for and we would stay again. It was quiet and peaceful, and right on the lake. We were gifted with a gorgeous week of weather but even it was hot the cottage had plenty of fans and one window air conditioner which we weren’t expecting. The inside is appointed beautifully (light and bright). The outside has a wonderful wrap around porch with nice, comfortable furniture. As well, there is a dock with furniture for relaxing, watching the sunrise and listening to the loons. There are 3 kayaks available for public use along with life preservers. You can also bring your own water toys. There is no stove in the cabin which we were a little concerned about but we didn’t miss it at all. There is a great grill outside and inside, a double burner, a skillet, a toaster oven etc. To us, the best for last is, as private and quiet as the cabin is, it is only a few miles from Meijer and downtown TC. We truly had the best of both worlds!

Downtown is a 2-3 minute drive away. You can walk to the end of the street to a beachfront park. Really nice spot, would visit again for sure.

Incredible camp! It feels “rustic luxury” might be the most apt descriptor for Driftwood Camp. The camp itself has everything you need plus an abundance of nature m, privacy, and charm. I booked this a few months ago, invited some friends, and hoped it was as awesome as it seemed. It exceeded all our expectations. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.! We’ll definitely be back. (Oh, and for any folks who book a visit and are worried about a forecast of cooler temps with the open air cabins: We packed extra blankets and slept very comfortably with temps in the low 40s!)

This is a gorgeous location. The river in the back is so calming and beautiful. We saw lots of wildlife. Everything in the home is in great condition. It was clean and roomy for my family.

The house was perfect, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. We would definitely recommend this place and will stay again if it’s available when we plan to come north.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay here with the family! The paddleboat and kayaks were great for the water. We spent most of our time outside on the deck or pier just enjoying the quiet. The large indoor table was great for eating and games, with room for all. Great stay!

What a beautiful home on Suttons Bay! You cannot beat this spot on the water and being able to sit under the willow tree and enjoy the view was heaven on earth. We truly enjoyed this rental and would certainly book again!

Abundant Heavenly Views! Saw so many shooting stars in the big night sky. Fun as we travelled to different very unique buildings for our needs…1. Cozy little barn-like sleeping quarters beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bedding. 2. bathroom building so unique with rain shower inside (and outside shower too), nice big farm-style sink & fresh towels 3. Unique kitchen/gathering barn w/great sitting area to enjoy morning and dinner table. Minimalist kitchen w/everything you need to cook a complete meal! We grilled burgers on outdoor charcoal grill! Had a bonfire at night which wood was provided! Had so much fun here with my grandkids and family!

Overall had a very nice stay. The cabin is a perfect mix of rustic while having all the amenities to make it feel like a vacation! The pictures could use some updating as ther have been some nice remodeling efforts since the pics were taken as of when we booked. We appreciated the trails around the cabin and the surrounding forest. They provided some added and personalized welcome amenities for us which were much appreciated! We did have to wait about an hour to get in as the correct code was not provided to us. It was frustrating at the time but it has also been a long day leading up to that point which added to the stress. it sounds like this issue will be corrected shortly if it hasn't already though.

This cozy little cabin was a wonderful, peaceful place to rest during our vacation. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. They provided clear instructions and recommendations for local places to eat and sightseeing. It was wonderful to wake up and drink tea on the deck while listening to the birds and looking out onto the lake. We recommend staying here if you're looking for a place close to Traverse City with some privacy and peace.

Me and my girlfriend came up for Labor Day weekend, and we had a great time at the Coop. It's right off of M-37 and was easy to find. We arrived late at night but the host was kind to leave the key in a secure location for us to retrieve ourselves. The building is small, but clean and relatively modern, it makes a great for a couples trip for sure. We had a bonfire each night, and even got to see a shooting star together our last night there. The only "negative" (if you can call it that) I have to report was it occasionally being difficult to get a response from the host, which had effected our ability to get a Wifi password that worked. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend any couples looking to visit Traverse City or the Sleeping Bear Dunes to check out the Coop first before spending any money at a hotel! 5/5 Stars.
