Houseboat holiday rentals in Grand Est

Perfect for shutting down!! The "cabins" are all individually in the forest as a tree house or swimming on the water. The place is simple but in high quality construction. In our cabin on the lake we had a Scandinavian SPA (warm water, perfect for colder seasons) overlooking the lake - fantastic! Breakfast is brought to the cabin in a basket in the morning and serves its purpose perfectly. For showering, you go to the main building, where large modern shower cabins are waiting. We were able to complete our trip with a walk around the lake and a small boat trip (good possibility for a picnic on the water). The staff is super suited and extremely helpful!

A moment of happiness spent in this unique place. The host is very kind and helpful. The village is very nice with one of the best bakeries… there are plenty of restaurants around and Strasbourg is very close. I'll come back without hesitation! See you soon

We spent 4 wonderful days on the houseboat in Strasbourg. The location was ideal – quiet, but still close to the city center, so we could easily reach the sights on foot or by bike. The boat was cozy, clean and well equipped – perfect for a short break. We especially liked the breakfast on deck with a view of the water and the relaxed atmosphere. A highly recommended and special accommodation for those looking for something other than a hotel!

Anyone who loves Strasbourg as a quick getaway without flying... arrives by car or train in strasbourg and is on holiday. Tired of the hotels around the cathederal, and looking for the something extra?.. head to the Oktober. Moored along the waterfront in a quiet and easily accessible mooring. Watch the Wildlife skimming over the basin, wave to the kayakers and joggers. Sit on deck wine and charcuterie and Great sunsets, yet 10 min away from Strasbourg City on the F.. The boat is a great alternative to a hotel room. Little kitchen, very clean shower + facilities.. and a perfect host. Can only say how great it was, and how soon i will return.
