Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Grand Anse Praslin

Great place, close to restaurant and many supermarkets. The hotel has its own beach with chairs and shade (palm trees). A really beautiful beach. You can rent a car, and it's next to a bus stop. It's walking distance to Anse Georgette, and Anse Lazio. I really recommend this place, if you're going to Praslin!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Cedric greeted us a reception and gave us lots of information on how we might spend our time on Praslin. He was very helpful and showed us around the apartment. The apartment was located close to many amenities and met all our needs. It was well kitted out too. The room was frequently refreshed and Cedric was always there for our queries, beech and taxi bookings etc. A nice place to stay, no complaints and a very helpful receptionist.

The residence was very clean, well organized and very comfortable. I didn’t want to leave. Felt like home.

My stay at My Ozi Pearl was nice. The rooms and adjacent dining areas were large, and the location was relatively near a few restaurants and take aways. I booked Brianson (Myriam's son) for a day trip through the island on the first day and he did not disappoint. In about eight-and-a-half hours, I felt that I got a very thorough tour of the island and a great trip to Vallée de Mai (please take Brianson’s advice and pay for a guide, as you will see things that would be difficult for the untrained eye). If you want good value for money and knowledgeable guidance, My Ozi Pearl is a good way to go.

We were picked up by taxi from the port and taken to the property. Natasha organized this for us. The property is equipped with all the essentials, clean and welcoming. Up the street there is also a small shop where you can buy the most important things for meals. Anse Volbert can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes - with beach, restaurants and shopping. There is also a bus right at the front of the street. In the other direction you can walk within about 20 minutes to Anse Takamaka, very nice and part of the Raffles resort. From the balcony we had a great view directly on the bay of Anse Possession (less for swimming, but starting point of many boats to e.g. Curieuse Island - Natasha also organized this tour very easily for us). For 2 days we had also rented a car through them. This will take you to national parks and beaches (e.g. Anse Lazio) and explore the entire island:-). Thank you!

The receptionist was extremely helpful, and we received excellent information about the area. I forgot something in the apartment, and a friendly employee was very helpful and even arranged for my things to be flown to Mahe. I'm very satisfied and would come back again!

Great location, really big place, clean, close to everything you need. Dorine is an awesome host, very helpful, always there if you need anything at all. Plus she is an excellent cook. Would definitely recommend staying with her, it's definitely worth it.

Family stay with 3-year-old children for 8 days. The house is perfect, clean, the bedding is wonderful. The pool is splendid. Petra and Kevin her husband are super nice and present. Papaya every day to pick on the terrace, it's great!!! I highly recommend it because it is a very quiet place, the spaces are large, you feel very good in it!!! It is very well located because Anse Lazio is 15 minutes' drive away. Supermarkets, beautiful beaches and good takeaways 5 minutes' drive away. I recommend a car. Dave, Kevin's brother, gave us a private boat trip to Ile Cousine and a beautiful snorkeling spot. He was lovely and I also highly recommend it. Thank you so much for this beautiful stay!!!!

Great place! We enjoyed it so much. Host was super and helped us a lot, organised bikes for us and there was a water dispenser in the house. Whole house was quiet and nice , top restaurants near the house. We loved it.

Dear Elje, Thank you for the restful and peaceful stay in your very clean, well-kept and quiet house. The beds were the first sleeping accommodations in years where we were able to sleep very well without complaints. We also thank you for the great and very fairly priced breakfast and highly recommend everyone to order it. We also enjoyed the delicious dinner 2x, but for budget reasons on the other days we did self-catering or ate takeout. The kitchen is well equipped, a filter coffee machine is not available (no big deal as the savvy traveler always has soluble coffee with them). Rooms very large, bathroom very original and huge, the air conditioning efficient and quiet as well as hardly any noise penetrates from the outside at night. You have to get used to the dog. If he bothers you, just tell him and he'll retreat. He barked twice briefly, why others criticize this I have no idea. Clear recommendation

As it says in the property heading cheap, probably the cheapest on the islands, and it most definitely is not the worst. Friendly, slightly quirk host couple who insisted on providing free dinners, a few minutes walk to the beach, well equipped kitchen and fully stocked shop virtually in the same building. Air conditioning and wifi worked, friendly dog. A commendable nuance is that this was built on land the family already owned with a view to letting, so unlike most Airbnb properties its letting is not depriving local people of a home.

Had a great stay at the villa once we managed the steep road. Views are great.

We loved our stay at Filao with Christelle! She was so kind, offering us juice and samosas when we arrived, a delicious breakfast to celebrate our anniversary, and arranging bike rental (100 SCR/day - definitely recommend to make exploring the island a breeze!). There's a little supermarket and some great inexpensive takeaway restaurants (KZ, Zerof) nearby, just a few minutes by bike. Also an easy bike ride to the gorgeous Anse Source d'Argent (and there is a small beach a 5 minute walk from the Airbnb). The garden is beautiful, and the home is comfortable - air conditioning/fan in the bedroom, and a fan for the living room. I was able to work comfortably for a few hours from the desk with great wifi. We hadn't heard from Christelle to confirm if we could check in early so we waited until the listed 3pm to arrive, and as it turned out she had been expecting us since the morning (and said guests usually arrive in the morning) - so do head there straight away. Overall, a lovely stay!

The place was very nice and spacious. There were three of us, but there would have been five of you. It is highly recommended to rent a car as the property is in an elevated position. Then you can easily explore the whole island. Andrine has always responded quickly to our questions and gave us more tips on what to do on the island and partly booked activities for us, such as visiting Anse Georgette and a rental car. The only thing to criticize was arriving at the lodge. There was no one to be found and only after a call came someone who showed and the house. The fact that we could just have gone into the house would have been better communicated in advance. All in all, however, a very nice stay in a beautiful area with a great view of the sea from the balcony!

My stay in La Digue was truly magical. Pamela and Georgie welcomed me like family. I felt incredibly cared for and valued throughout my time there. Georgie is a talented cook and an exceptional wood craftsman who built the home himself with love and dedication. Pamela’s helpfulness and warm, comforting energy made every day brighter... being around her felt like a constant, reassuring hug. I was initially nervous about visiting La Digue since I was working remotely, but the internet connection at their place was the best I experienced anywhere in Seychelles ... fast, stable, and reliable. One thing to keep in mind: the property is located at the top of a hill, so getting up and down each day is a bit of a workout. But the views and the warmth of the hosts make it more than worth the effort, especially the sunsets. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Leaving felt like saying goodbye to family, that’s how special the connection was. I will be back!

Raphael welcomed us with great kindness, and gave us all the necessary explanations to make our stay a success. The accommodation is beautiful, very clean, the view is sublime, the garden superb. We had dinner on the terrace facing the sea, an unforgettable moment of serenity and indulgence. Raphael is an excellent cook!!! We met Thérèse who is very welcoming. A real little paradise, well located between Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette. Would recommend 100%

Clean accommodation, good location, very nice terrace. which I reproach: 1/ the 2 beds of the 2 children were added after our arrival, we were forced to move the sofa, the living room table, the living room was much too cramped to accommodate 2 additional beds, a little too camping for the 6 nights spent. 2/ missing a lot of things in the kitchen: no bowl, 3 glasses, there were 4 of us. The kettle couldn't work, since the outlet didn't match! No basic necessities, such as oil, vinegar, coffee... 3/ No response to the email I sent on the evening of our arrival, while we were there for 6 nights. to summarize, if you are a couple, the place is perfect, if you are more, make sure there will be extra beds.

We loved our stay from Humburta because of its proximity to amenities like restaurants, pharmacies, and proximity to the national park. Check in was available earlier than the above, which was important to us because we were coming from the ferry. Humburte is very friendly and accommodating, and will be happy to provide advice and recommendations on the island.

Nunzio was the perfect host! He helped us with everything and made sure every day that we were happy. He gave us good information about how to get around and what to do. We are very happy that we found this guest house!

The location in Grand Anse was great! You could hear the waves crashing from your bed. It’s maybe a 30 second walk out of the apartment to the beach. The pool was also a nice treat and perfect to relax out of the sun when you need a break. I would recommend renting a car for other guests. Taxis are quite expensive for just a short ride and the bus, although it ran regularly, proved to be inconsistent and quite late at times. This certainly wasn’t why you travel all the way to Praslin but the tv shows and movies that were playing turned out to be very good. It was a nice way to end the evenings after many excursions. If you need to work while on vacation, it should be noted that the WiFi in most places on Praslin can be challenging and inconsistent. Basil and Samiah were very accommodating and made the place feel comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at their place.
