The villa is as it looks in the photos - beautiful and very well appointed. It is clean and has everything you would need in terms of cooking utensils, etc. Simon and Laura were very helpful and proactive, and the instructions were detailed and clear (although the PDF is different to the Air BnB manual, which I think was a little out of date in terms of restaurants etc). Dandini is a little treasure. He's always around and ready to greet you as you get home. He is friendly in his own way. A couple of small drawbacks - firstly, although the villa is nicely private, it is a good 15-20 mins walk to the top of Competa (meaning most restaurants and shops are more like 30 mins away). It is a tricky-ish walk during the day because of the very steep drive, the cars are quite fast, and there is very little shade. At night it is more comfortable but the cars still feel a bit dodgy. Secondly, the pool is not heated but I found it fine once I'd braved getting in! Thank you for the great stay.

This is our second stay at Jasmine Azul. Yet again a lovely holiday with everything we needed. The villa is so homely with great views and amazing outside space. Monica is a great host, always responsive and super friendly. 😎

Amazing, well equipped villa in beautiful surroundings. Such a peaceful place to unwind and relax. We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and the place suited us to a tee! Loads of space (far more than the photos let on), stunning views, amazing ‘top deck’ with outside kitchen/pool/shower. Bedrooms were lovely and roomy, with nearly all having en suites and air-con, panoramic views. Definitely recommend this place to large groups/families, truly memorable. Ana Maria and Amin were absolutely fantastic hosts. Meeting us for check in, showing us around and very quick to respond to any questions we had. So nice, thank you!

We have been very comfortable in the house. I had everything you need. The water machine is a great success and is appreciated. I wish all the houses were as complete and clean as Gabi's. To repeat without a doubt.

Beautiful and remote location with amazing views from the terrace, so much peace and quiet and birdsong. You can watch the weather as it changes rapidly within the surrounding hills. Outside space is really lovely, communal area is excellent especially if you are with a family or friends. Inside is cosy but well equipped and clean. Super friendly and helpful hosts who made sure we were comfortable, thank you for being excellent hosts!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were looking for private accommodation for a family with a four year old child. So that our daughter could be free in the garden. The pool is clean and very nice. Nearby Orgiva is a charming town. If you want to spend time in peace with your family, this is the place. Breakfast in the shade of an olive tree. Relax by the pool overlooking the beautiful mountains. Barbecue in the evening. Beaches within driving distance. Lots to see nearby (Granada, Pampaneira and more). Antonio is a very communicative and friendly person. He helped us with everything we needed, nothing was a problem. Thank you for everything, we spent a wonderful time here.

We had a wonderful time at Dorien and Wims beautiful villa. Both are really responsive and helpful, when there are questions. Even though we had a few incidents it was easy to communicate and on an really appreciative and friendly basis. We loved the house and the beautiful nature around. It’s definitely mandatory to come by car because of the uneven and mountainous terrain but the instructions we got from Wim and Dorien have been really helpful and easy to follow. We stayed with a group of 8 and we had more than enough space for everyone and would definitely recommend to spend a calm and relaxing vacation at this amazing spot to recharge from daily life. We wish Wim and Dorien all the best!

Frigiliana We selected Camilas house for our one-week stay because of the beautiful surroundings of Frigiliana and we did not regret our choise. We enjoyed the Moresque influenced clean but robust design of the house, the remote sea view as well as the peaceful surrounding nature. A car is definitely a must for accessing this hillside location, but actually it took us less than five minutes to drive to Frigiliana and twenty to Nerja and the coast. The house is spacey with a well equipped kitchen, small dining room, large bedrooms and cozy sittning areas, several outfoor terraces giving opportunity to enjoy the sun or shadow throughout the day. We did not miss the TV at all. Heating elements were provided in every room. We also enjoyed the pool area! We found nice restaurants in nearby Frigiliana and visited also the magnificent Nerja caves and made one day-trip to Alhambra. Camila and Pati (the local host) were always friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with.

We have 12 days in the Apartment and were delighted! The apartment is very nicely decorated and we felt very comfortable. The outdoor area is much larger than it can be seen in the photos. You can look out to the sea from the terrace and enjoy the sunrise! We really enjoyed everything very much and we will definitely come back again!

We absolutely loved it - lovely cave house modified to an extremely high standard with everything you need. 3 bedrooms, kitchen and terrace with gorgeous views. Nieve was lovely host & we'd recommend to anyone. It is hidden up a path and a few steps but we'll worth the effort 👌

We had a wonderful time at Nikki's place. The Villa was exactly how it was described - quiet, peaceful and private and with great views! Situated in the outskirts of Granada, it was a ideal for us to use as our base to explore the Andalusia region. Our kids loved the private swimming pool, which was very well maintained. The villa was very clean and cozy, every room had an on-suite and was well equipped, including fans to keep cool in the hot weather. There is a lovely roof top terrace with a fully equipped BBQ area. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruits and veg from the terraced garden! Nikki is an amazing host. She was very accommodating to our late night arrival, ensuring we had some provisions for the morning and checked in on us regularly to see if we're ok. If you are after a peaceful retreat, I would highly recommend Nikkis place , whether with friends or family!

Joshua is very welcoming. The house matches the photos and description perfectly. 15-minute drive from Granada. I would highly recommend this property.

Delightfully enjoyed in the heart of Andalucía. The finca is in an amazing location with fantastic views. The last stretch of the road to the finca is a challenging path. There is little to do in the immediate vicinity of the finca, we were aware of this. But both Cordoba, Granada and Malaga are very easy to reach. You don't miss anything in the finca, everything is thought of. In short, we have enjoyed a wonderful week with our family in a beautiful house.

We had a wonderful time in Bev's accommodation - the pool was great for cooling off in the hot temperatures and we had a marvellous view of the mountains. There was also a brand new barbecue which we were allowed to use for cosy barbecue evenings. The flat was very clean inside and out. Bev was a great host, she even provided us with food on our arrival and recommended lots of great local sights and events. We would love to come back!

Fantastic house looking over the valley. Perfect destination to get away from it all. Amazingly equipped kitchen, lots of books, games, and multiple options of where to sit and relax. Steep hill to get to and from the house but no issue in a car. Wonderful round room. Great pool area. Loved the oranges/lemons to pick during our stay. Padel tennis court was fantastic - the kids loved it. Great cycling routes near by. We hope to come back!

Beautiful villa with stunning views. The free access to fruit and veg from the finca was a nice touch. Had a great week there and would happily recommend.

We stayed at Casa Azul for a week. We used the garage as well. The house is lovely with high ceilings, a lovely living area and decent kitchen. There is also a roof terrace for sunbathing with a view of the fortress. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. There is plenty to do locally and many restaurants and bars locally. We played golf at Alboran (twice) and La Envia which was most enjoyable. Juan was very helpful throughout.

I spent 2 days in a very special place. Darrical can't be described. You will be involved in village life and welcomed with open arms by San and Annie in their unique Airbnb. It is an authentic place where you can recharge and enjoy the nature. The place has something magical and takes hold of you. You can walk beautifully and enjoy the river. I have stolen San and Annie and Darrical in my heart..

Juan was very friendly, helpful and responsive upon arrival. The cottage is situated in very beautiful surroundings, it is also very private to yourself, you’d struggle to not having a relaxing time there, would be somewhere I’d look forward to returning to and highly recommend!

Really lovely spot with amazing, large pool, that you can actually swim in, even with a group of eight, outdoor seating to relax and enjoy views. Our group appreciated all the separate bathrooms and cooking indoors and out and eating on the balcony. Host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Malaga, Marbella, and Granada are all about an hour to an hour and a half away. El Torcal ( remarkable rock formations on a hike) is only 1 hour. Walkable little market for beer/wine. We came by car, so not sure about public transportation. Do be aware that there is no dishwasher, but the lovely unique dishes are great. Occasionally you hear neighboring dogs , but the road is quiet. I especially recommend going to Museo Etnológico de Riogordo a little local museum about Andalusian culture/ historical life it is a gem off the tourist beaten path. Enjoy! Wonderful house, spacious and decorated with pleasure. Environment of exuberant nature. Very spacious garden with a variety of trees and plants, views of the mountains, fountains, orchards, bird songs. The host is very friendly. The ideal site for a relaxing retreat in a little known and surprising corner of the Sierra, surrounded by small towns and a half hour drive from the city of Granada and the Coast.

Jim’s place is located on a hill in a quaint, peaceful village. The views are stunning from every room. Jim is incredibly helpful and thoughtful. We arrived on a Sunday when the markets are closed. He had the foresight to offer to get us some groceries for our breakfast the next morning. He greeted us at the cottage when we arrived and gave us great recommendations for the local restaurants. Jim was always available when we had a question or needed something. The home is unique, comfortable and has all the amenities one could need whether it is a couple or a family staying there. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Thank you Jim!
