It has a private separate entrance with parking at the back of the house. The space has a TV room with a queen futon couch and floor to ceiling curtains for privacy. The bedroom has a queen bed. The kitchen is fully equipped. The host is an artist and this space has his and other collected artwork throughout.

Located in a quiet residential area known as ‘Skidegate Heights’ in the village of Skidegate on Haida Gwaii. The Hilten is an offgrid (no electricity) cabin perched atop a knoll of towering spruce. This 15' x 24' cabin is crafted from Haida Gwaii Western Red Cedar, with post & beam, mortise and tenon refuge and is warmed by a wood fireplace. Fully furnished with a kitchen, dinette, desk and living room including a comfy fold-down daybed. It sleeps four comfortably (upto 5). The cabin has private parking, a private outhouse, on demand propane shower room, and tabletop BBQ provided.

Please enjoy the 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, full kitchen with dishwasher, washer, dryer and single driveway with room for 2 vehicles. Only a 12 minute walk to the coffee shop, 13 min walk to Co Op for groceries, 20 min walk to hospital, and 32 min walk to one of the many nearby beaches.

Kims place is in a great location with stunning views across the water. It is extremely spacious. The communal areas were shared with students during our visit, which was not a problem for us as they were quiet, respectful and friendly to chat with. Of course they cooked and used the kitchen like typical students too!

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is cozy and rustic, good for two, situated in a lovely meadow in the forest; however, it does have everything we needed for our 10 day stay. We particularly enjoyed the 40s style kitchen, the old china cupboard, and used the wood stove every day. No Cell Service, no TV (a Bonus!) but there was WiFi and the electric heating panel. We spent many a morning coffee on the veranda listening and the only sound was hearing bees in the rhododendrons. We plan to return next year and will be booking Rose Cottage again for a relaxing stress free stay.

Lynn was friendly and accommodating. The location was lovely and the accommodation very well appointed both inside and outside. Although washer and dryer were not available for guest use, she did our laundry for a small fee which was hugely helpful.

The cottage could not have been more perfect. Nestled near a coffee shop, local market and pub with amazing food as well as a beautiful pier to walk. James was engaging and responsive. Everything was clean, fresh, and comfy with quaint touches. Would (and will) stay again.
