A very comfortable place, three bedrooms, four beds, two full bathrooms, very equipped kitchen, washer, TVs, everything you need for your stay. Lurdes is wonderful, great proactive communication and responsive, very kind person. The house is in a very quiet street with small and nice restaurants just a block away. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in São Romão or Seia area. Thanks to Lurdes for being so attentive and letting us stay at your very nice place.

The house & location is in a very small village up in the North of Portugal. Perfect getaway for us coming from a busy part of Portugal! We enjoyed our stay at the place, and highly recommend it to anyone considering booking. It was clean, super spacious & had a trampoline & small climbing course for my kids!

What a charming place! Even more beautiful than in the photographs, we were very surprised. When we got to the house it was warm, they were careful to turn on the heaters before our arrival. As our visit was in order to enjoy the snow, you can imagine the cold that was! We were a family of 8 people and there was enough space for all of us. It has all the necessary utensils to spend a few days. As well as towels and many extra blankets. I can only point out that they could have been more careful with the cleaning, one of the toilets was dirty and there was some dirt behind the couch. For bathing it is a little difficult to regulate the temperature and has little pressure. But excepting everything perfect anyway. Thank you very much We recommend 100% and when we come back to play in the snow we will stay again at the cabbage house!

The way they greeted us significantly impacted our experience, making us feel more connected to the place. The house itself is full of character, featuring a beautiful and clever combination of design and objects. Every detail reflects the thoughtfulness and soul of the hosts, as well as the history of the house. Lugar da Pedra Altra is a very special place, the host were very helpful and we had a very memorable holiday. We stayed there as a group of eight, two families and we had enough space, and the breakfast that they supplied was very enjoyable. We would look to visit again in the future

Staying here was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had thru Airbnb. The farm is beautiful and private. We’re lucky to have the whole place for us and phenomenal weather. The chalé we stayed at was wonderful and surroundings were perfect to watch the sunset over the faraway mountains. Just paradise. We had some trouble with our car when leaving and asked for help to Mrs. Conceição. She promptly had someone from the farm, Mrs Teresa and Mr Antonio, who help us out and solved our problem. Awesome people all around. Loved it and I recommend it.

Lurdes was an amazing host. We had a little hiccup at the start but Lurdes and her family were amazing in trying to make it right and they sure did. My family and I absolutely loved the place, super clean, super equipped kitchen, my dog had a lot of space to run and enjoy. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back.

This is a modernised and well-equipped home near Penhas Douradas at the northern end of the Serra d'Estrela. My stay was in mid March, and the heating, a mix of electric radiators and a pellet stove, was more than enough to keep the whole house warm. The kitchen equipment includes an air fryer, microwave, induction hob, and coffee maker. You park your car outside the front door. About a kilometre from the house is the start of a popular walk along the Serra's main ridge that takes you to the 1993m summit at Torre. Just along the road from this property is a fairly expensive 4-star hotel. I'd say that Aldina's place represents better value than the hotel, and you can always go to the hotel restaurant to eat if you don't fancy cooking at home. Thanks to Aldina and her translator friend for welcoming me into the property. This is a stay I'd happily do again.

We spent a wonderful weekend, the house is great for large groups. It offers great amenities! When we arrived we had waiting for a lit fireplace and a super cozy house. Not to mention the Dona Alcina who received us with a contagious smile and full of local recommendations to give. No doubt we would return! Joana was also an excellent host! Very careful and quite available.

Just outside of Seia in a private, quiet location. Very spacious place with super comfortable beds. Alice was very helpful and her friendliness was only topped by that of her dog.
