Melissa's space was exactly as advertised, and she was a very friendly host - even taking time out of her day to introduce our girls to some ducks and chickens. We had a very nice stay.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean. The parking was convenient. We liked how walkable the area was. We were staying for a volleyball tournament at the convention center and the apartment was an easy walk. We would stay again!

Fantastic spot in the heart of Richmond! Very clean, great communication from hosts, and conveniently located near all the great attractions/bars. It was also great having a backyard for our dog to sniff around in and so nice to have a designated parking spot. Would absolutely return!

My husband and I stayed three nights. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The shower has strong water pressure and we slept well on the foam mattress. The area was quiet and we were able to park right out front. Katie replied pretty quickly to questions. Previous two reviews mentioned loose kitchen hardware and a slight odor which had been addressed, the later with a plug-in scent diffuser, which at times helped to mask the slight smell. If there was the option we would have rated this 4.5 stars.

we stay at this property whenever visiting our son in Palmyra. the unit is always spotless, warm and welcoming. recent upgrades are a functional kitchen with sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, Hot plate for quick one pot meals and microwave. the space is under a large cathedral ceiling and offers plenty of space for two people but can accommodate four with the additional queen size air mattress available. perfect place for a young familys, or a few friends to spend a weekend or longer. The fact that pets are welcome is also awesome. thank you linnice for providing such a warm comforting unit!

I absolutely loved this Airbnb. Most important to me is cleanliness and this place was spotless. Everything you could possibly need was there, all within one block of lively Cary Street. The parking was great and the neighborhood was a lovely walk for my dog. Once inside, very quiet with a huge tv! I’ll definitely be trying to book this place again when I can get back to Richmond!

Our family had such a wonderful experience! The home is so spacious, cool historic decor, clean, and beautiful property surrounding. Everywhere you look is beautiful scenery including the gorgeous horses and donkeys. Clear instructions and the communication with the host was excellent. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our family and will absolutely stay there again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at the James! It had so much character and charm. The property is beautiful. The horses were friendly! Everything was as described and Ellen was responsive. We would definitely stay there again!

This house is perfect for a small family looking to visit the area. The location was great for us as we have family nearby and normally have to stay over 30 mins away when we come. The house is beautifully decorated with cute farmhouse vibes to fit the area. We did have a few cleanliness concerns but we made the host aware and she was outstanding with her responsiveness and willingness to resolve any issues that were brought to her. I truly believe the issue was with the cleaning company not completing their job to the best of their ability but I trust that the host is going to take care of it for future guests. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Chelsea is a wonderful host with great communication and we would love to stay here again when we return.

This AirBnB was amazing! Honey and Anthony did a great job making this space cozy and welcoming. The area was lovely and the lake was beautiful! I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

Gus and Susie are no longer "just" mine and my daughter's AirBnB hosts...they are lifelong friends. They are super fun, warm and welcoming - Susie and I bonded even before we ever actually met in person!!! Their home is incredibly comfortable and absolutely beautiful. My daughter and I both experienced the best sleep we've had in years!! I could NOT believe how deeply and how long I could sleep here. The beds were 💎💎💎💎 (4-Diamond level) comfortable and the peaceful surroundings somehow just came together to enable incredible sleep. I cannot recommend them and their place enough!!!

What a very peaceful, cozy, and welcoming home! Linda is a lovely person and very accommodating and attentive to anything you may need. Her house is spacious, bed is comfy, nice big kitchen to cook or prepare food, quiet atmosphere and truly a home away from home. You will throughly enjoy your stay here.

My large family had a great stay at the Washington House. The house is on a huge property that’s so peaceful and a short walk to the river. We had plenty of room for all us and the kitchen was perfect even though it looked small on the photos, we cooked all our meals here for 9 people. Would definitely stay again when coming up to visit family.

Off-the-grid meets modern amenities! This house has it all: tranquility, privacy, incredible outdoor and indoor amenities. We loved the pool and outdoor shower, especially. Although the last 1.5 miles are on a gravel road, which is slow going, it is well worth the drive. It’s convenient to the town of Louisa, as well as Charlottesville. All the bedrooms, the living room, as well as the cabana in the pool area, have smart TVs, the kitchen is well-stocked and the bathrooms are absolutely impeccable. By far, this is the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. I highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay because you're just a few short blocks away from Cary Street, where there are lots of great stores and restaurants. We walked over several times to get coffee and go to a restaurant, and then shopping the next morning. The apartment is not "new" -- it's in one of the many old houses that line the street. But it was fun and had some character. The bed might be a little soft for some people, but I was comfortable.

We had another nice stay at Mark’s place while attending our daughter’s graduation at VCU.

Beautiful location, up the hill from the water! Great fishing and easy to get around the local area! House was spotless and smelled clean when we walked in. Bed was comfortable! They've thought of everything! Will visit again!

My wife and I come to Richmond a few times a year and we have stayed at Suzy's place twice. It's in a great neighborhood and has off-street parking. The only reservations we have are that the sheets and comforter are polyester, so bring our own cotton ones; and the kitchen is not well stocked with utensils and cookware. That might not be an issue for others, but we like to cook some meals ourselves instead of always going out. Other than that, we will continue to stay here when we visit Richmond.

Great stay. Isaac was easy to deal with. The place is beautiful and in a great location. We would definitely come back. It needs more hangers and more towels. Next time I will bring an extra set of towels for each bathroom with me. Very easy check out. Very relaxing stay.

Thank you for a lovely stay! we loved the character of this apartment. The beds were comfy, the cot was easy to set up, the climate control was easy and worked well. Eugene was very responsive in troubleshooting the TV. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a great girls weekend at Melissa’s. The property was the perfect size for 4 and was very convenient! Ear plugs and white noise machines really helped with the street noise. Melissa was very responsive and helpful.
