Stylishly Refurbished Heritage House (Muda Blue)

Originally built in the early 1900's, the house was dilapidated and not fit for habitation. It was out of passion to restore the building that Muda Blue came about. As the house is protected by the UNESCO World Heritage Site inscription, its structure and facade had to be maintained, which we were happy to do. This is a comfortable heritage home located in GEORGETOWN, Penang. Situated in the heart of the city, this is the best place to stay to explore most of the magnificent spots in Georgetown. The location is very strategic and situated in the middle of Georgetown city, a lot of tourist spots and famous eateries are just within 5 km radius from my place, it is easily accessible to a places in Georgetown, Penang. Welcome! Alvin lives on the ground floor, he co-owns NarrowMarrow cafe. Trained in architecture and is active in the music scene. Walk out and into the best cafes and mural art, popular hawkers and heritage sites. The unit is very spacious as it takes up the entire floor with its own private kitchenette, dinning space and bathroom. This entire floor is fitted with pre loved curiosities, found in the vicinity of penang. Please take notice it’s on the first floor with no lift.

Teratak Sekuchi is a semi-traditional timber house by the South China Sea. Originally built in KT town, it was relocated in 2007 to Mengabang Telipot, a typical fishing village. Furnished mainly with old wooden furniture and local decorations, it offers a taste of coastal village living with basic modern comforts. There’s no wifi, TV or air-cond. Hundred Year Old Heritage Shophouse (Loft)

Welcome to our family owned, renovated and run historical home. A 100 year shophouse where your “entire area” is the top floor of our 3-story shophouse in the heart of Georgetown. Meticulously renovated from an existing birdhouse to its former glory. All renovation was carried out using recycled hard wood and red bricks. The electrical work and water piping are all exposed.
