Two private rooms in a rural bungalow in Bridgend

MarilysRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was our second stay with Pat and we were so glad to be able to book again because it suited all our needs perfectly. There was plenty of space for us and we had our own bathroom. We had the use of her kitchen. My daughter is coeliac so she needed to bring her own fridge and food but Pat was very understanding and accommodating. There was plenty of parking. It was a lovely location, with a rural feel, but quite close to the M4 and easy to get to surrounding places. Pat and her husband were very friendly and relaxed and very welcoming. Fantastic.

Lucy was a fantastic host. She was extremely welcoming and cheerful, the check-in was a breeze and her home was immaculate. I will definitely book again if I’m in the area.

Cottage, Nelson, near Bike Park Wales & Zip World

Me and my 5 friends plus two small dogs stayed at Julie’s place as a base before Barry 10k on the Sunday. It was just what we were looking for, lovely clean rooms and cosy social areas. We did the local park run on the Saturday morning which was a lovely route and really friendly volunteers. Had a beautiful breakfast at the colliers farm cafe and returned home for some social time. We popped to the railway pub for an afternoon drink which was just down the road from the house and has a lovely beer garden. Overall we absolutely loved the cottage and our break away. Would 100% return again.

‘Cariad’ A Romantic Off Grid Retreat in Wales

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very nice place to stay!! You feel like you are part of nature. It was so lovely waking up to listen and watch the birds. The horse lorry is so cosy, the kitchen/toilet/shower area is lovely too. Charlotte is great, I had a small problem (my fault) and she responded quickly and gave great advice. Would recommend for a couples get away or just a solo trip to enjoy the surroundings :)

I booked last minute as a trip for the dogs and I and I’m shocked this was available to be honest! Super light and airy, lovely amount of space for us and I easily took crates to put up. I always have the best time hiking the dogs in Wales and this is in a nice spot to various walks. Would love to go back and highly recommend!

Tŷ Byron Guest House

Excellent place. Definitely one of the best Air BnB's I've stayed in over the past few years. Chris has created a really lovely home and there is quality throughout. The view from the terrace is every bit as stunning as the photos suggest (sunny weather helped...can't always guarantee that in Ponty!). Chris was a friendly and helpful host, communication was very good and he has great knowledge of the town. Pontypridd being situated as it is, there are hills involved and the walk back from town to the apartment is a bit of a hike. However, it's worth it for the views right across the valley.
