House holiday rentals in Glossop

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

Idyllic cottage for a countryside getaway! We stayed at the Farmhouse for 3 nights as a group of 7 adults and 2 children. We loved our stay here, can highly recommend. Clean, peaceful, comfortable beds, fast WiFi, big TV. The large kitchen was perfect for a big group with 2 ovens and dishwashers. The heated pool and game room were around the corner - technically shared with the other cottages but we were always alone when we went. 5mins drive to picturesque Bakewell. Only cons (which are not really that critical): Hosts are not responsive through Airbnb, but thankfully instructions for check in were very clear and there’s a booklet in the house with all necessary info. Kitchen could be stocked with a few additional cooking essentials, like oil and a few spices.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

We arrived at Holmfirth afew hours early and had a look around. it’s a beautiful little village with lots of walks at the heart of it. I reached out to Ben to see if we could check in early, not a problem he said with his very prompt response. When we entered the house we were pleasantly surprised on how cute the house was with all amenities you need, especially the kitchen which we used several times. The bed is luxurious in a beautiful room. There is a stream across from the bedroom window, when you go to sleep you can hear it clearly which I personally loved, it actually helped me sleep too. Lots of surrounding walks and lovely restaurants to visit. Nothing seemed too much trouble for Ben, the owner. He offered everything we needed for our perfect little stay. Thanks again. We’ll be back.

A wonderful stay! The pictures don’t do the accommodation justice ! An immaculate, modern, home from home stay! The cottage was stunning with views to match! Ita is a wonderful host & very accommodating with all of our requests! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend !

Heather cottage is a gorgeous little place, exceeds expectations from the pictures! We had a 5 night stay for our 4th wedding anniversary. Amanda had left us a lovely welcome gift which was really sweet. The cottage is nicely decorated with nods to the Brontes' and the log burning fire was stacked ready to light, which we did on night 2! Many places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk including artisan/gift shops to indulge yourself, which we did! At the the weekend there was the Haworth Haddock steam train event, with fish&chips served on board, a drinks carriage and live music at Keighley Station which we enjoyed! Theres plenty to see or do in the surrounding area of Bronte villiage. We'll definitely be going back to Heather Cottage! Thanks again Amanda.

Lovely stay at Anita’s place There is everything you could need inside. Lots of cups, plates and cutlery. The bedding was beautiful and clean,as were the towels and the beds were comfortable There are very steep stairs in the property but these are described in the description so it wasn’t a surprise for us. There are 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and even a toilet in the cellar! If you are looking for a value for money stay with plenty of rooms and bathrooms/toilets and you have no issue with stairs then this place is an absolute gem. If you are going into Manchester the trains run regularly and the walk to Glossop train station is less than 10 minutes. Glossop itself is well worth a look around and of course you can explore beautiful Derbyshire. This property doesn’t have a garden but Anita offered us lots of really helpful information on where to walk our dog locally and offered us a dog gate if we needed it. I would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

We had a lovely stay, well equiped cottage and Alison very friendly and a thoughtfull host. Lots of walks and placws to visit in a few miles.

Where do I start with this review? Chris is one of the most genuine, caring and wonderful people you will ever meet! He saved us from a horrific amount of stress whilst holidaying in Mexico! For some background we had to move out of our home just before going due to an internal soil pipe leak and had been living between parents and hotels just before our family holiday of a lifetime. Whilst we were away the insurers and loss adjustors agreed signed off for a long stay or let meaning we then had to try and find somewhere whilst we were on the other side of the world! I dropped Chris a message and just WOW… What a guy, if it wasn’t for him we’d have likely ruined what remained of our holiday. His place is stunning, so homely and in a beautiful location - everything you need on your doorstep with the most incredible host! It is not a shock Chris carries a 5 Star rating and it is well and truly deserved, do not hesitate and book or reach out! You won’t be disappointed, thanks Chris! 🫶

this property was cosy and peaceful as advertised. We really enjoyed the peace and quite, as well as the close proximity to the town. the house was well equipped, and very clean. The amenities included were great, and the host was extremely helpful whenever we needed something. I will be recommending this property to my friends and family. it was a great stay.

We loved the cottage very comfortable amazing views in a beautiful setting. The hot tub overlooking the lake was idyllic. Sarah was a fabulous host nothing was too much trouble. Children friendly games etc well equipped the grandchildren loved the cats visiting, feeding the goats treats and playing in the garden. Plenty of wonderful walks we loved the canal walks stumbled across great cafes pubs and local shops...the local pub the junction had a great menu and food was delicious. The location was perfect — right in the heart of Manchester — and the interior décor was simply stunning. The apartment was immaculately clean and felt like a true home-from-home. Our host went above and beyond from start to finish, making everything seamless — from the booking process to the warm welcome and local tips. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Holly’s home provides a great base from where to branch out on day trips either by foot or by car. Her home is spotlessly clean and contains all the amenities you need to enjoy your break. we really love Katie's place. second time for us to stay there as its so convenient being so close to our Mums house, which we are renovating. It's like home from home for us. We love the space and it's so comfortable and clean. Katie is so considerate, a wonderful host and a pleasure for us to stay in her house. Thank you for letting us stay a second time xxx

BEAUTIFUL place in a lovely community, very walkable! Back garden is lovely and basement washing machine/dryer keep the noise away. Beds are on the soft side and incredibly comfy - very spacious as well. The kind of place where you'd happy walk around barefeet as well. Lovely bathroom with amazing shower

Charlotte's place was absolutely spotless and it felt like no expense was spared which was so refreshing to see. Everything was just perfect; the beds were super comfy and the bedding was good quality. The kitchen and kitchen applinances were prestine and the views were something else. We also enjoyed a fab sunday lunch at the white hart inn. Highly recommend!

We had a good time staying at Clare’s cottage — it was comfortable, well-equipped, and well-located for accessing the Peaks for walking, and Manchester for a gig. The listing was accurate (e.g. about the access to the top bedroom being via the other bedroom.) Our two-year-old loved the park opposite. We recommend!
