Nariel Valley Farm-stay - self-contained suite

In 2017 we discovered and purchased this small farm in Nariel Valley. It ticked all the boxes with a creek running through it and backing onto bushland. Our dream has been realised and after 20 years of managing other people’s farms we are living in our new home, on our farm, with our small herd of Angus cows. We knew Nariel was special but we continue to discover its myriad of offerings for those who love solitude or outdoor pursuits. We look forward to sharing what we have discovered with you.

Mini Mountain Studio - Bike or Ski

Welcome to your mini mountain home! Hotel room/studio with some cooking facilities. Central Falls Creek village location. Walking distance to many restaurants. Ski in winter, including ski in ski out (snow depth dependent). Escape the heat to mountain breezes and bike or hike in summer! Small, but thoughtfully equipped. *winter 2025 is byo towels and linen due to a new baby and no capacity to do linen. Price altered accordingly. If you can't bring own linen & towels please ask and I'll arrange.

The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

This unique and tranquil experience, your mud brick miners cottage on a lavender farm has fantastic views in all directions, is about 4km to all of the fine dining, shops and fun activities around Bright. Cycling, Golf and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet are all nearby. With a adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda where you can eat and enjoy the view. Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream

Nestled amongst the natural beauty of Wandiligong, Moondance Cabin overlooks the glorious valley and all that it has to offer. Sit out on the deck and read a book, or enjoy a nice glass of red as you relax and unwind. There's nothing here to distract you from your sole purpose to let go of the stress of the city and enjoy the tranquility of mother nature . Avalon House: The Mine Managers

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.
