Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Glasgow

Samantha's room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and a spacious modern en-suite in a quiet appartment building. Very close to the river, on the edge of the West End (plenty of stuff to do and visit, heaps of excellent restaurants) and a 30-minute walk away from the Central Train Station, which was very convenient. Samantha herself is a very nice and friendly host, responsive and clear in her communication. We would definitely book her room again next time we're in Glasgow!

It was great to stay at Saint James

A nice place to stay.Clean and nice room with en suite.I did not eat out very much and made use of the very good kitchen which jaf fridge freezer,microwave together woth full elecric cooker.I booked with Air B nB and unfortunately I had to duplicate passport details,sent a photo of myself and then take my passport for verification.All of this should have been provided by Air BnB.I was told I had to be vetted.Why was this necessary.This enlonged procedure would put a lot of people of staying.I have stayed at many place which have been student accommodation and have never had to deal with such unnessary duplication of information.I would add all members of staff I spoke to were pleasant and helful.

I had a great stay with Gabriele. He is super welcoming and the apartment is very nice. Will 100% be staying again.

We stayed here whilst going to a family wedding in the local area. It was clean and exactly like the photos. I couldn’t recommend this home enough. Sharon was responsive and friendly and answered any questions that we had. Lots of supermarkets within walking distances and a lovely quiet surrounding. Thank you Sharon for a wonderful stay !!xx

We headed to Adriana’s apartment for a week over the New Year period. The apartment is lovely, very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment is very spacious with big rooms and 3 bathrooms. Lots of space in the living area to unroll my yoga mat and look out the balcony window and straight out onto Loch Lomond and surrounding hills. Even on the dreichest of days it looked magical. The apartment is part of the Cameron House Resort. We dined in the apartment mostly but enjoyed the numerous walks around the apartment and the hotel. The Boathouse is a lovely spot for a coffee and to watch the seaplane , the annual charity waterski took place on the 1st and we enjoyed watching this , the 1st was a an unexpected spring like day. Warm, bluebird skies and sunny. Staying at the apartment allows guests to use the pool facilities at the hotel and the Carrick spa. We only used the latter. Having been lucky enough to have visited many 5* hotels with spas - I would hand on my heart put this one as my favourite. I loved it so much i used it twice a day. Once at 9am and again around 3pm. There is so much to do. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, aroma room, chill out room, thermal experience, roof top jacuzzi , infra red room, chill out zones… and on & on. Just perfect and was the highlight of the trip for me. I understand that Adriana uses these weeks usually for herself and family. We felt extremely lucky that she opened up this week and we were able to go. Will be keeping our eyes on this listing for next year !

Aymencito was very communicative, check-in was painless, and the room was clean. The location was close to the train stations and a few bus stops. The area was relatively quiet but near quite a few pubs and restaurants. Great option for a couple/solo traveler in Glasgow.

The Airbnb is located in a two bedroom flat that is walking distance from Glasgow CBD. It is close to several bus routes as well as the subway. The room has its own toilet and there is shared access to a kitchen, fridge, washing machine, etc. The room itself is adjacent to the motorway so traffic can be heard all throughout the day. There is a gym downstairs at the apartment block but I was not able to access it with the provided fob. Overall, it's an affordable well-suited to a short-term stay in Glasgow or as a bridge to moving into the city.

Lovely flat in a good location a few mins walk from the river and access to the Ovo and SEC and in walking distance from city centre station. Chris is a responsive and helpful host. Clear and detailed instructions provided regarding access, Wi-Fi etc. the range of coffee and herbal teas was a bonus. I would use again.

We had a wonderful stay at Callum’s place. It was clean, conveniently located and had pretty much everything we needed. Callum even provided a few snacks and drinks for us upon our arrival. It was the perfect home away from home for our 6 week stay in Scotland and we will certainly be staying with Callum again when we’re back on the area. 10/10 stay and host. I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Glasgow. The hosts were very friendly and discreet. The accommodation itself was easily accessible and very clean. The neighborhood was both pleasant and quiet. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and serene stay in Glasgow.

Recently visited Pleasant Hill for Hen Weekend. We had previously been let down by another house and Chris was extremely helpful and reassuring. 17 of us stayed for the weekend and the house was perfect for what we needed it for. Chris was in constant contact with me, gave plenty of recommendations for local amenities and attractions and was flexible on check in and check out times. For such a large party, buying food was a concern of mines but he suggested we do an online shop beforehand and offered to collect it and put it away for us before we arrived. This really was a massive help and greatly appreciated, it was one less worry and concern I had in the run up to the weekend. Our bride and all guests had a fantastic weekend. Thank you!
