Old Fløtt- a special old family house in Gjógv

Cozy traditional Faroese house located centrally in Gjógv. The house was originally built in the 19th century, continuously maintained and renovated in 2020 with a sense of preservation of the traditional expression. The house is located in the middle of the village. In Gjógv you are very close to the magnificent nature and can go on trips to "Ambadalur", "Slættaratindur" , "Gráfelli" and other scenic areas. Right by the house, the river runs through the village, and in the summer it's full of play kids rowing in small barrel boats on the river.

Í Fjósinum Look forward to staying in one of the oldest houses in the Faroe Islands. In this house you can enjoy the very special atmosphere, of homely and cozy atmosphere. Here are crooked angles, low ceilings, and a somewhat steep staircase up to the ceiling, but good to walk on where 2 bedrooms and bathroom are. On the ground floor there is the hallway, the living room and the kitchen, which has been gently renovated two years ago. It overlooks the lake and the high mountains from the windows.

The backyard is a small public park with an outdoor café, where people meet for coffee in beautiful surroundings. The tourist information is our next door neighbour.

Whether you want to see the Selkie statue on Kallsoy, go for hikes on Viðoy, or experience the remote islands of Svínoy and Fugloy - Klaksvik is your perfect base! Gjógv and Saksun are just a 45 min drive from Klaksvik.

One with 1 double bed and one with 1 single bed for extra bedding for two.
