Klejdi is a very friendly and welcoming host. We slept in the house for one night. It is a nice big house with all the facilities. The old town centre is a 10-minute walk away, without too much elevation. In short, a perfect house for a family and at a good price.

Nikollaq was a very responsive and helpful host. The house was superbly located, near the castle and within easy walking distance of a host of restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.

Albana is a really excellent host. She is exceptionally friendly and helpful. She welcomed us with coffee and sweet treats, and was responsive when we had questions, and gave us tips about the local area. She had even made some jam for us, which we enjoyed for breakfast. The apartment is great - exactly as described, with a beautiful courtyard under a grapevine that is nice to sit and read. It is in the perfect location to explore the old town. Fantastic value for money. We will definitely stay with Albana again if we visit Gyrokaster in future.

Heerlijk huis dichtbij het centrum met een balkon en prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Inrichting is passend bij het huis met mooie slaapkamers en een basic keuken en badkamer. Voor ons prima. Wij hebben onze tijd veel op het balkon doorgebracht, waar het heerlijk verblijven was. De auto hebben we op straat geparkeerd, wat prima ging. Houdt wel rekening met hele smalle en steile straatjes, dus autorijden hier is wel een uitdaging! Contact met de host verliep soepel.

Don't think about it. Just book this place now! This was exactly the kind of place I was looking for. I was staying in Sarande at a hotel prior to booking this place. The hotel was great but I wanted something closer to the REAL Albania. I found it here. I was actually surprised that I found this place on Airbnb. It was old school Airbnb...where someone opens up their home to you and you are able to experience the hospitality of the host or hostess. It's not your typical Airbnb place either. This is a typical family farm that is found in so many places in eastern Europe. It is not the kind of farm you would find in Canada or the US that are hundred of acres in size. The home is situated on about 0.5 acres or 0.2 hectares of land surrounded by the typical rock walls you find surrounding many homes in Albania. What kind of animals do you find here? Chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits and even ducks. Yes, there is a garden for vegetables and grape vines throughout the property. Please don't think this a petting zoo farm... this is a working family farm that provides food for the family and you if you stay here. It is a modest home that has been in the family for many years, it is on a plot of land that has provided the food and shelter for the family for countless generations. I have nothing but enormous respect for the hostess and her family. It was the kind of home that my parents grew up in Ukraine. This is what attracted me to this place. These people are salt of the earth. Humble, happy and proud. Respect. I could write a short book about my stay here. To sum up, it was wonderful. I have stayed at my fair share of Airbnb places, but this is my most favorite place ever. I did not want to leave and I do plan to return and stay much longer than the ~10 days I was there. What are the highlights of my visit? 1. The hostess Alexandra and her dear mother. Real people. 2. Coffee with fresh goat milk every morning. Yes, it's that good. 3. The sunrise in the valley. Breathtaking. 4. The amazing hikes up the mountain and in through the valley. There are so many ruins and hidden cool places to discover. 5. Taking the goats and sheep grazing in the morning. Yes I did that!!! 6. I'm not going to give it all away...book this place and I'll let you discover all the wonderful things here on your own. Alexandra and her mother don't speak English. This was not a problem at all. I downloaded the microsoft translator to my phone. It allows two people to communicate back and forth at the push of a button. It made communicating with the hostess very easy. I had many wonderful conversations with Alexandra and her dear mother many times using this translator. So you will be just fine. Look... this is a farm. It smells like a farm where the animals live and it has bugs...get over it. If you are looking for Disney World or the Ritz Carlton...look somewhere else. This place is perfect the way it is and I will be returning in the near future. The apartment is clean and well equipped. The internet works great. My cell phone worked just fine. It has a great stove for cooking and a washing machine to wash your clothes. It has a TV, but why would you watch TV when you are in such a wonderful environment to explore? There are places to buy groceries to cook food...OR...you can arrange with Alexandra to prepare meals for you each day. That is what I did. Breakfast and dinner. So I didn't have to cook or buy anything extra to survive. It's up to you. I chose to eat home cooked food from the farm...how can you beat that??? There is so much more to say...but... Don't think about it. Just book this place now!

Ci ha accolto la madre di Anna che anche non parlando la nostra lingua è stata super carina e disponibile in tutto. È stato come essere a casa di nonna. Ci sono 3 bagni e la cucina molto grande per mangiare tutti insieme. Giardino accogliente con tanti gattini. Posizione top per spostarsi nella regione di himare (la più bella per spiagge). Lontano da caos e movida perfetta per chi vuole una location rilassata e carina. Ristoranti molto buoni nei dintorni.

Was a great village of true albania.Very quiet place.Only thing is that you have to drive 10km without asphalt which was ok for me

We felt so welcome and immediately at home during our stay. Lorenz, the host’s son, was incredibly sweet and helpful. He spoke perfect English, which was so helpful. The house was exactly as described, tidy and clean. We would definitely come back to stay and recommend it to anyone else.

A Perfect Nature Escape with Private Pool I recently had the pleasure of staying at this villa, and it was an absolute dream! Tucked away in nature, this property is a hidden gem for anyone seeking tranquility, comfort, and a stunning natural setting. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern yet cozy touch. The large windows offer breathtaking views of the surrounding greenery, and the open-plan layout makes it feel light and airy. Every room feels connected to nature, and you really get the sense of being in a secluded paradise. The private pool is the highlight! Perfectly maintained and surrounded by trees, it’s the ideal spot for a refreshing swim or just lounging by the water. We spent hours there, soaking in the peaceful environment. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area where we enjoyed meals, with the sounds of nature all around.

My stay at Diamond in Saranda was nothing short of incredible! From the moment I arrived, Lefteris, the host, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly welcoming, always available for any questions, and provided fantastic recommendations to make the most of my time in Saranda. The apartment itself is a gem! It’s impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The views from the balcony are absolutely stunning. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Do yourself a favour and visit Diamond apartment.

Είχαμε μια υπέροχη διαμονή στο διαμέρισμα της Γιαννούλας!όλα ήταν πεντακάθαρα και η οικοδέσποινα πολύ εξυπηρετικη και είχαμε άψογη επικοινωνία! Προσβάσιμα όλα με τα πόδια, κοντά από το λιμάνι των αγίων Σαράντα και ο χωρος της πισίνας ονειρικός! Σημαντικός ήταν επίσης και ο ιδιωτικός υπογειος χωρος στάθμευσης σε μια περιοχή όπου ήταν δύσκολο να βρεις πάρκινγκ στους γύρω δρόμους. Σίγουρα θα το προτείναμε!

Un très bel Airbnb conforme aux photos et bien situé à Saranda. La vue sur la mer était extraordinaire. La porte à code est très pratique pour un grand groupe comme le nôtre, comme ça pas besoin de clé ! Juste quelques points à ajouter sur des équipements manquants : - gel douche - shampoing - papier toilette - dosettes de café - sacs poubelles - cendrier

Das Haus befindet sich im Bergdorf Upper Qeparo, das mit dem Auto über eine holprige, kurvenreiche Straße erreicht werden kann. Die letzten ca. 100 m müssen zu Fuß auf einem steilen Steinweg zurückgelegt werden - dafür sollte man einigermaßen fit sein. Die Lage der Unterkunft bietet einen tollen Blick auf das Meer bis nach Korfu. Das Haus ist komplett möbliert und gut ausgestattet. Besonders schön ist der Außenbereich mit 2 Terrassen und einem kleinen Pool. Eraldi ist ein perfekter Gastgeber, der immer gut erreichbar war und uns viele Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben hat. Im Dorf gibt es 2 nette, rustikale Lokale, ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Upper Qeparo wirklich genossen.

Very lovely villa and a friendly host who was quick to answer any questions I had. The location is good and right on dyrmades beach, the main dhermi beach is too far to walk but only a 5 min taxi (€10). The villa is not very well equipped, e.g. there were no glasses for water and no cushions for the sunbeds, but other than that everything was very good. the pool is not heated so would be hard to use outside of summer, but it's beautiful when hot, the water is fresh with not much chlorine and still very clean.

Very easy to find on the main road. Host and family are friendly. Bathroom is very modern. A little dirty as there were old sponges and q tips, and old bar of soap left in the shower. Large room, excellent ac, balcony with sunset view. Small kitchen for cooking but no soap to wash dishes are trashcan to throw away garbage. Walking the paths to the beach are incredible with spectacular views. Even though on the main road, there is a little traffic noise in the day. Night was quiet a sleep was good.

Le logement de Qazim est très bien situé, à proximité du centre historique et de la citadelle ainsi que de la rue principale où se trouve les restaurants. La vue du balcon est top et le logement très grand. Un grand merci à l'hôte qui nous a aidé avant de partir à récupérer nos clés de voiture !!
