Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Albania

We had a wonderful time at this place. Everything was very familiar, warm and friendly people who gave us a warm welcome. They even brought us local specialties and we felt looked after at all times. We were allowed to eat fruit from the garden several times. A car is recommended to reach the place and also the beach and other places around.

Rexhina's place was great. We were hosted by her parents, a lovely wonderful couple, who live next door. They were very kind and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was remote enough to see the bright stars at night and to go on hikes during the day, yet it was just a short 5 minute drive from the main highway that goes along Albania's coast connecting many cities and smaller sea side towns. I highly recommend this place and the hosts.

Beautiful stone cottage in a stunning environment, with the perfect amount of remoteness. A short walk to the river and a spot by the bridge to swim and relax on a sandy shore. Kitchen items were all clean, as well as the rest of the house. Host was extremely helpful during our stay, especially with finding an appropriate parking spot at the end of the road as we couldn’t drive our rental car on the gravel driveway. Would highly recommend this stay, our favourite place in Albania!

A really nice experience to be in a authentic, nice appartement very close to the old town and yet very quiet. Very friendly host, very clean and great view. We loved Gjirokaster!

As other reviews have mentioned, Gasper was a great host! He had great recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Shkoder. We also spoke with his father, who was very helpful and kind. The location was very good and Shkoder itself is very walkable. The apartment was very clean and felt homey. We loved that this Airbnb had unique decorations and history for the family.

I can’t recommend File’s guest home enough!!! It is nestled on the mountainside a bit away from the restaurants and shops, but it’s a quick drive or 15-20 min walk (downhill). And the peaceful views make it 110% worth it! File was incredibly helpful with directions getting to the home and gave local recommendations and tips for everything! This is a must book :)

Layla and Alban are very nice people. We had a lovely time! We spent a lot of time on the terrace, which turned out to be very convenient. In this area you can feel how locals live. The road to the sea is not very convenient, but the beach is not crowded and very beautiful.

We had a wonderful and restful few days at Arber’s place. The cabin is cosy and a great base to explore the beautiful local surroundings. We received plenty of great recommendations from Arber, and the local taverna was also very friendly and helpful. Thanks!

We had a great time staying at this property - it was true to the photographs, pristinely clean and had all the amenities you would need! The host was super flexible, showed us around the local town, took us shopping and gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and bars. He even gave us a number for a local taxi who managed to drive our big group! He was super easy to communicate, too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

Really nice stay at this place. The salt water swimming pool is great and we got to see some helicopters taking off next door. The swimming area in the sea is beautiful if you are a strong swimmer. Host is very good and answers straight away. Nice restaurants nearby, the grill place next to the hotel is amazing.

We had a pleasant stay. The villa was clean with a nice view and environment. Also good communication with host Amel, very friendly. I definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful new villa in the north of Albania. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. Communication via Airbnb was very good. The villa is perfect for a large group or multiple families and offers a great view of Lake Skoder. There is a lakeside beach within walking distance, as well as cozy restaurants and cafes nearby. For groceries, you need to travel a bit further, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Montenegro is within driving distance and definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a clean and relaxing vacation!

Great stay! The place was clean and cozy, and the hosts were lovely. Otto the dog was a highlight so playful and fun! Highly recommend.

The place is incredibly located at the end of Spille beach, with a real feeling of being alone in the world, just magical! A real moment of relaxation:) Namely, on the other hand, out of season there may be work next door that disrupts a little the calm during the day, and the beach was not yet cleaned.

What a gift this house and especially this garden!! The garden is so beautiful and big. We only went in when it got too cold outside in the evening. We enjoyed the beautiful view and the beautiful sunset every day. For our Golden Retriever, this was also very nice. The garden was completely enclosed, so he could roam freely and always find a shade spot. What is particularly noticeable is the love with which this garden is maintained. Plants blooming everywhere, We were allowed to pick fruits from the trees: such as lemons and oranges. Inside it is cozy and clean and the bed sleeps wonderfully. When we arrived, Anita's father was already waiting for us. He guided us through the house and garden and explained everything. A friendly man. Communication continued over the phone. That was fast and pleasant. Piqeras is another authentic small village with many small shops and 2 restaurants. The tavern opposite the house is highly recommended!! In short: recommended!

We stayed for 6 nights and worked remotely from the apartment, had zero issues with internet. The kitchen is very well equipped and the apartment is within walking distance from grocery stores and restaurants. As the apartment is situated on a main road it can be a bit noisy, but the shutters helped a lot to block out excess noise at night.

We had a lovely stay! Kristoforo was super nice, he gave us several recommendations for beaches, restaurants to go to in Himare. He even lent us beach towels during our stay because we forgot ours. We really enjoyed the apartment, we slept very well, it's quiet.

We had a great time with family. The kitchen was beautiful and fully equipped. We had a dinner at the grill. The city view from the balcony was omg. Highly recommend.
