Castle holiday rentals in Girona

Sebastian and Gloria have a true gem in the beautiful Catalonian country. Close to beautiful Vic and amazing villages (one of the best bakery’s is just a short distance away!) this is a must-stop spot if you are coming to the area. The home and its history is magical and the rooms are so gorgeous and comfy - we cannot wait to get back there with our family. Gloria and Sebastian were the kindest hosts you could ask for - we felt like long time friends after the first meeting and their passion for their property is unmatched. I cannot recommend this home enough and we are are already dreaming of our return trip.

Sitio perfecto para relajarse, maravilloso, sin ruido, ideal para desconectar, con unos anfitriones muy atentos y preocupados porque disfrute el huésped. Una experiencia muy recomendable.

If we could give the castle 10 stars, we would! None of us wanted to leave. The castle with view and surroundings was beautiful and peaceful. Our kids loved learning the history of the castle and of Spain in general from Marc, the host. Marc was always available with anything we needed. We hiked 3 trails from the castle which Marc recommended and we loved them all. The kids enjoyed exploring the castle and property around the castle. They all say it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed! Thank you Marc! We hope to come back one day!:)

This is a special place. It has the perfect balance between a medieval castle and a liveable modern house. The internal spaces are fine and the external spaces are really a pleasure. The little town is beautiful and quiet, and there are so many things to do in l’Empordà. Adrià is a fantastic host - always responsive and helpful. 100% recommended

Todo impecable! La casa es tal cual se muestra en las fotos, muy linda muy bien equipada y la comunicación fue muy fácil y fluida.

Joan es muy alegre. Es muy fácil entenderse con él. Montse y Diego, sus padres, viven en el castillo. Son un matrimonio genial que nos acogieron estupendamente y estuvimos muy cómodos. Conocimos a toda la familia y son muy simpáticos, educados y agradables. Viven en el piso de abajo y son los vecinos ideales. Sant Feliu de la Garriga es una fortificación medieval. Os lo recomiendo solo tener la oportunidad de vivir en un espacio tan antiguo. Es una maravilla de belleza y silencio. Todos los detalles están hechos con gracia. Nada desentona. Tiene la armonía de las cosas cuidadas con inteligencia y amor. Entras por el patio central. Es precioso, con la hiedra en sus muros. Las golondrinas anidan y vuelan en su interior. Subes al primer piso por una escalera de caracol que está al fondo del patio. Y todo lo que acarreas lo subes a casa con un sistema GENIAL de polea. El piso que alquilas es el de arriba de todo. Tiene una terraza inmensa con vistas espectaculares y con dos zonas para comer y cenar. Tres habitaciones comodísimas a las que no le faltan detalle. Han pensado en todo; guardar la ropa, colgadores detrás de las puertas, mosquiteras, contraventanas sí sois como yo que no podéis dormir si hay luz… Un salón con una mesa para comer y cenar, televisión, sofás... Cocina de gas que funciona estupendo y un baño con agua caliente y vistas espectaculares. Las vistas son espectaculares desde todas las ventanas de la casa. La casa pertenece a Viladamat que está a 5 minutos en coche. Esos 5 minutos lo cambian todo. Uno de nuestros miedos era que hiciera calor; al estar en alto siempre corre como mínimo una brisa y el interior de la casa con la estrategia de corrientes de aire y cierre de ventanas que dan al sol se mantuvo fresquita incluso los días que hubo ola de calor. La ubicación del castillo es la ideal. Las playas de Sant Martí de Empúries y San Pedro Pescador están al lado a 10 minutos en coche. Si eres andarín o ciclista, la casa está rodeada de bosque y a las espaldas del castillo tienes kilómetros de pistas y senderos para hacer largas rutas en una zona muy poco transitada y con muy pocas casas y pequeños pueblos.

1. Carolina와 그녀의 친구는 완벽한 호스트입니다. 2. 오래된 고성입니다. 1000~1300년. 내가 생각하고 있는 고성(영화에 나오는)은 아니였지만 색다른 경험입니다. 3. Girona에서 차로 약15~20분 거리에 있습니다. 저는 Girona 방문을 하기 위해서 이 숙소를 선택했습니다. 완벽합니다. 4. 최소 2박 이상을 머물면서 하루는 숙소에서 휴식을 하는 것을 추천합니다.(바베큐, 수영장 등등). 저희는 1박만 해서 이 부분이 아주 아쉽습니다. 5. Girona에서 숙소로 가는 길 중간에 아주 큰 마트가 있습니다. 숙소에 가기 전에 여기서 장을 보시기를 권장합니다.

We loved our stay with Gloria and Sebas, and would highly recommend. We booked it as it seemed like something the kids would remember for our first european vacation, and it is definitely something they will remember! We got to experience the clock tower, the beautiful grounds that had a lot of history, and a fun huge apartment with a lot of character! It felt like staying in a castle and the kids will absolutely remember it forever.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in der traumhaften Unterkunft übernachtet. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Wir wurden direkt durch das ganze Anwesen geführt. Es liegt etwas abseits wunderschön in der atemberaubenden Natur. Es gibt ein extra Gebäude mit einer wunderschönen Küche, einen großen Pool und viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Absolut ruhige Alleinlage, es ist unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen. Alexander

Excelente atención muy buenos anfitriones Andrea y su esposa excelente sitio muy bien ubicado fácil de llegar Perfecto para descansar instalaciones perfectas todo limpio y en buen estado fuimos toda la Familia y con mascota y todo salió Perfecto muy buena calificación para esta locación las Camas perfectas todos los electrodomésticos y menaje en muy buen estado gracias a Andrea

Hemos estado muy a gusto en el castillo. Está todo super bien cuidado y Cristina y Gabriel son encantadores. Repetiremos seguro!
