I stayed in Kirk Ella for 6 weeks for a work placement, Chloe and her husband were very attentive throughout my trip. They made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Chloe invited me to join her yoga sessions, which were brill! They also gave me a lift to work on my first day, which really eased my anxiety. I would recommend this annex to everyone, lovely location and lovely people :)

I've occasionally stayed at Airbnbs that provided breakfast, but this is the first one that provided a lovely home-cooked vegetarian (usually) dinner every night as well. The best part is that we all ate dinner together and conversed for about an hour or so about everything ranging from politics to sports. Now, I understand that may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I just loved it. Solo traveling gets lonely sometimes. The bedroom was bright (by Hull standards :) ) and warm. The bed has a foam mattress and clean sheets each week. There was a desk, plenty of outlets, and a couch. Wifi is decent. There's an extra toilet downstairs, which helps with the occasional traffic jam in the upstairs bathroom, which all residents share. Shower water is plentiful and hot with occasional irregularities due to dishes or laundry, I assume. Guests can use the washing machine (which was replaced during my visit). 15 minute walk to grocery stores, 5 minute walk to bus stop, 30 minute bus to Hull.
