Roquefixade is a very picturesque village and the accomodation is excellent, with a spectacular outlook. There are lovely walks in the area. We especially enjoyed the chateau circuit and another loop walk to Les Demoiselles. Tom was a very friendly and helpful host.

We really enjoyed our stay with Erick and Isabelle - they are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome, including organising a tasting of local Corbières wines, and a separate vinegar tasting. The house is beautiful, and very well equipped - for dinner, we could take our pick between bbqing outside on the terrace or cooking in the kitchen. For swimming, we were spoilt for choice, able to swim in the pool as well as in the river below the house. The countryside around the house is great for walks (and the nearby village is easily walkable), but it is quite remote, so a car is needed to get around, and to visit almost any of the nearby sights beyond the village. It was an amazing holiday, and having this great place to stay was a really important part of it!

Maisonette located in a bucolic garden, sunny in the morning shaded in the afternoon. We stayed there for 1 week. The masters of the premises gave us a friendly welcome. The territory is very green. There are many sites to explore.

Very well located accommodation for visiting the surroundings and for swimming. Spacious for a family of 5 with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Games, books, dvd available. The church bell is surprising at first because it's right next door, but you get used to it quickly.

This is a superb tasteful and luxurious house that pampered us in so many ways. Nice touch with the welcome pack. It is so well thought out. It is spotlessly clean. Our hosts Paul and Fia could not have been more helpful with suggestions. The setting is peaceful but close to many places. We got brilliant sleep from the most comfortable bed and a quiet ambiance. The wood burner adds to the quality as an all year place to stay (we were there late October). The terrace and garage were great for bike storage. This is a real quality find well above its cost. A luxurious home from home. We will be back and soon.

We spent 3 wonderful days in this house in Quillan with 7 friends. The house is beautifully renovated, very well equipped—especially for cooking—and offers all the comfort you could need. Communication with the host was smooth and pleasant. Checking in and out was very easy. Special mention for the jacuzzi and sauna, which weren’t part of our initial criteria but ended up being a highlight for everyone! We highly recommend this place and won’t hesitate to come back for our next trip to the area ! Thank you
