Holiday rentals in Ginetes

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the home to be better than described. Pre-arrival communication was less than usual, but upon arrival, the hosts were on-site, bilingual, and extremely gracious and friendly. Easiest check-in ever for an Airbnb. The keys were in the lock on the outside door. An excellent sign of trust and a safe community. You'll need a car for day trips but there are bars, restaurants, a church, and a supermarket a block away. Extremely quiet. Definitely away from the noise and hubub of larger cities or busier communities. The home is on a dead end. Pretty much zero traffic. Strong WiFi. Plenty of hot water. More than plenty of linens and blankets for the 3 beds and sofa. The closest gas station is about 15 minutes away - plan accordingly. The supermarket's breads and pastries tend to sell out early. The "Italian" restaurant is far from authentic but it does the job. (Pack/sneak some oregano.) 30 minutes to PDL. 15 minutes sete-cidades.

The place looks even better than the pictures. It is very light and spacious, super well equipped, everything you might need is there- even the little kitchen gadgets you don’t expect to find in a short term rental . It is also only a few steps away from a beautiful black sand beach, close to the shops and restaurants. The host was also unusually nice, even left snacks, wine and fruits as a welcome gift . couldn’t be happier with my experience. ❤️

The house is located in a perfect spot, view right on the ocean. Huge garden with all the amenities to play with your kids, have fun and relax. The interior offers the right space for everyone. The kitchen is very well furnished, nothing has missed! washing machine and dryer helped our staying. Thank you very much! We definitely recommend it.

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay at the Azor Eco Lodge! From the personal greeting with flowers and a homemade cake to the surprise pancake breakfast we felt truly welcomed. The hosts were extremely communicative, even pre-heating the hot tub for us on the first night. The home had everything we could need including coffee, laundry detergent, beach towels and extra blankets. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay in Sao Miguel and our accommodations were no small part of our experience. We remarked to each other several times how glad we were that we did not stay in a resort. The charm of the experience lies in its authenticity, not in the mundane average experiences of hotels. The house was beautiful and the location was convenient to things we wanted to do. My hat’s off to Claudia for hosting such a perfect place.

This was an amazing place to stay. Incredible views and a great base to explore the west part of the island from. Just need to watch the hot water with the solar. We ran out over a couple of cloudy days. Will definitely be back. Carlos was responsive and helpful

We had a great stay. photos do not do justice to the house. Proper wow when we walked in. Location perfect and at night you can hear the waves. Bar cafe 20m to the left where you can park your car. Shop to the right about 30m selling everything you may need. Couple supermarkets unroute to Mosteiros from airport. Sunset Vibez bar well worth walking to for the amazing sunsets. If you need a relaxing stay to recharge the batteries then this is it. Tristan excellent host.
