Unique, eclectic apartment on the outskirts of Edinburgh allowing for easy travel into the centre whilst benefiting from peaceful surroundings. King size bed, smart TV, and all essential amenities. There is a bus stop at the end of the street with the 3 and the 29 taking you into the centre of Edinburgh every 5-10 mins at peak times (takes ~30 mins), as well as night buses that run throughout the night. This is usually my home so note that some of my things will be here :)

Our family home is situated in Gilmerton, south of the city centre with direct buses and easy access to the City Bypass. Located 20 minutes by car from the airport / 30-40 minutes by bus to and from the city centre. The double bedroom is located on the ground floor with a tea and coffee station and a private en-suite bathroom. The room can be accessed via the front door or through the back garden entrance. EV charging is allowed with prior arrangement at an extra cost.

The city centre is accessible by a short bus ride direct from our home that takes 20 minutes to reach the centre of town. Buses run every 15 mins and provide a 24hour service. Our home is also 15 mins from the airport by taxi or car. Our home surroundings are very quiet for a great nights sleep.

This accommodation is as clean and good as it is known. The location was good for taking the bus when going downtown, and it was good to take the highway when moving to other areas. I don't think you can experience the breakfast David prepares every day anywhere else. I already miss this accommodation and breakfast. I stayed for 4 nights, and if I go to Edinburgh again, I will find this place.

The room was even better than I expected! I had a room on the second floor looking to the back of the house and I didn't hear a thing from outside of from my neighbor! Louise was very kind and even carried my heavy luggage upstairs. She also let me check in early. Would definitely stay here again!

Rosemary is a wonderful host and her house is very nice. Rosemary's place is inside a small compound right off a main road, quiet and serene, with ample visitor parking. Solid bed and I slept well.

We had a fantastic stay with Susanne and Kilian in their lovely home. Susanne was a kind, considerate, and genuinely friendly host who made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a real treat, with a thoughtful spread including fresh fruit, jams, bread, eggs, and a lovely variety of Nespresso coffees. It was great to see a selection of milks provided to cater for different dietary needs. The room and home were clean, tidy, and impressively well-organised. There were lots of thoughtful touches—locked drawers for valuables, hotel-style shampoo and body wash in the bathroom, and even umbrellas provided for wet days out. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Rose and Jake provided a lovely and spotlessly clean single bedroom with en suite shower room on the first floor. The rooms are nicely furnished with a very pleasant colour scheme throughout. The location is excellent with quick and straightforward access to Edinburgh. I will certainly return and many thanks to Rose and Jake for their lovely hospitality.
