Eddastua is in history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with his sisters, who lived as a seamstress. Some years after Edda's death, Prostinne Valborg and her husband took over Prost Steffensen . When he died, Valborg moved to his children and the house was empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They've taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. Down by the sea, it is great to fish from the mountains while watching the sunset go down in the evenings. Possibility of using charcoal grill if desired.

We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and unobtrusive to the very bottom of the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 15 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great private sauna barrel all the way down by the water. Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top trips and smaller family trips for you.
