A true bed and breakfast in a sea of stale air bnbs! Sharon met me upon arrival and showed me to my private abode in the center of a working cherry (and other things!) farm. The fridge was stocked with eggs, milk, butter and bread, and there was a nespresso machine + a selection of teas. She also gave me a book of local wineries and their backgrounds which I greatly appreciated and used throughout my stay. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!

This was a perfect stay, convenient right across the bus stop and Foursquare. I felt so at home and so welcome. Arrowtown is a real hidden gem and it was a manageable walking distance into town to explore further. Great suggestions in the compendium, comfortable and warm bed and the heat pump was a bonus, although I didn’t need it much with the lovely sunny few days. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

A perfectly proportioned, cosy, modern and well equipped unit for a couple - just like a home away from home, at a great price and the location is unbeatable if you are here to explore the many biking and walking options like we were. Belinda was very accommodating in allowing us to securely store our mountain bikes in the garage when we were not using them. Already thinking of our next visit, can't wait!

Amazing house, amazing hosts, cool animals which you can feed! Setting is absolutely stunning, close enough to Queenstown but remote enough to feel the serene landscape, amazing night sky's too. Hosts went above and beyond and did everything with a smile. Great spot!!

Suzanne’s property was the best decision we could have made for our trip. Gorgeous rustic design and a working ranch with deer stock nearby. Halfway between Queenstown and Glenorchy the location was perfect for a quiet retreat after a being out and about in town/nature. There are a few guest houses at the location and everyone was friendly and we had plenty of privacy while not being too isolated. Loved it and would stay again or recommend it to friends. We really loved our stay here. Simple, modern with all the perfect touches - soft snuggly towels, comfortable bed, warm floors, yummy smelling hand soaps, dimming lights, nice toilet paper. Even little chocs on our arrival, with granola and nice milk. Everything had a touch of care and Aroha to it. Private, quiet and warm. We were lucky enough to be visited by the dog Jet who came over for a scratch. Easy access. Everything you need.

This place is the “Four Seasons” of rural NZ. Located in a vineyard and a short walk to Lake Dunstan, this cute little cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts have thoughtfully designed the space and furnished it with all mod cons to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. The stand out feature is of course the outdoor hot tub which we got to experience on a chilly autumn night after a long day of travel. Just ensure you let the hosts know so they can fire it up and have it ready for you to jump in. Can’t wait to tell family and friends all about this place so they can also experience this little slice of paradise.

What a WONDERFUL experience. Definitely worth it. Great location and not to mention, warm, inviting, cozy, clean, stylish, and beautiful. I would 100% recommend this place for a restful time away. Very convenient location, just a few minutes drive from the town center! It was nice and cozy unit in a quiet neighborhood… Sandy was very responsive and helpful with addressing our needs. Great stay and would recommend!

The most amazing spot! Unbeatable views of mountains all around on a tranquil farm in Arrowtown. Truly a special place. So much better than paying a similar amount for something tiny in Queenstown. Our 2 kids (7 & 4) also loved having their own little ‘wing’ complete with giant soft toys, a TV, bathroom & wardrobe. Three small buildings are joined by a central semi-outdoor area, but you can mainly close this from the elements with two large doors. It made the stay feel like an adventure and we all loved it! The master ‘wing’ felt luxurious with beautiful views from the bed. Double-head shower was a nice touch. The kitchen/living space was stylish and really comfortable with everything you need. Looking out to a mountain range from the dining table was perfection. Weber BBQ outside was great. We loved the cats / dogs / cows - all so friendly. Close to Arrowtown and the 20 min drive to Queenstown was a breeze. Recommend the scenic drive to Wanaka too. Highly recommend this stay!

Thank you Steph for such a beautiful stay. The photos did not do the room justice, it was impeccably clean with everything you could need for your stay. We appreciated the heat hump, heated towel rack and floors for our winter stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Steph’s place again.

Great place to stay. Comfortable bed, comfortable lounge, spotless bathroom with great shower. To top it all off also has fabulous views, especially from the window seat.

Our stay at Mei's place was great. Very comfortable and cosy and has everything you need, with a fully equipped kitchen. There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 kids, and felt quite comfortable. The accommodation was exactly as shown and nice and clean. The wifi was good which was really helpful for work purposes. We also really enjoyed the fire pit. Would definitely recommend it.

Clean and modern - has everything you need! This has been our favorite place so far. The farmhouse is right next door if you don’t want to cook. Has a small kitchen and a washer and dryer. Great stop for the weekend adventurer.

Loved the rustic cabin. You can't beat the quiet and beautiful surroundings. If you are ok with a little bit of a drive into town and willing to exchange that for a beautiful sunrise and seclusion with your host just a short walk away, this is for you.

Really lovely house with a sweet little garden at the back. We were travelling with two small children and it was perfect. A lovely distance from the town and really nice walks nearby. The house was spotless and had super comfy beds and an amazing shower. We would definitely return. Thank you so much for having us!

The Carriagehouse is a perfect spot to stay if you prefer to stay out of the downtown Queenstown bustle but still be close to all the local attractions. The house is spotless, well equipped and best of all has amazing views across the mountains. Walking paths around Jack's Point make for a relaxing way to take in the scenery.

What a georgeous, quiet, spacious property for my husband and I in the final days of our NZ holiday - a perfect way to finish our trip. Everything was spotlessly clean and the private courtyard was perfect for morning coffee (thanks to the Nespresso Coffee machine). The most comfortable bed of our trip - it was so lovely not to wake up with a sore lower back and hips each morning and the temperature was perfect for sleeping. We loved that the bathrooms had underfloor heating and sensor lighting under the vanities once it got dark outside. Communication with Sandy was easy and her instructions were easy to follow. Overall 10/10 and can highly recommend.
