We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back. Made was so welcoming and professional - he also assisted with ordering dinner to our villa from a nearby restaurant which had the best food ever! Definitely a must stay, awesome view hidden in the jungle.

What can you say about this place?? An absolute delight!! We were lucky enough to have 5 nights and it was a real highlight for us and a beautiful place to make memories. The house itself is quite remarkable. The detail and natural flow make it so serene and calming to be in and you can tell it was built with care and love. Nyoman was kind enough to send pictures of the build and explained how they used only local trades to do the work which was important to them, and as a result you can feel the community within. Some people may not be fussed either way but for us it really added to experience. It’s: situated a perfect 5min drive out of Ubud and the village was the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and everything you need if you want to stay local. Nyoman was so generous and kind with our kids and genuinely wanted us to experience his community which was awesome. A beautiful man! Hopefully we’re back soon. Thank you!?

The house is in a beautiful location, but somewhat remote from the restaurants and other entertainment. Nevertheless, this is not a problem because Made is always ready for you, even if it is unexpected. Dinner at home is made for you (by the family)if you want. All in all had a nice time and the house is recommended.

The host was really kind and also the house was very close to the beach and all the restaurants! ☺️

I love the place and it’s beautiful at the pool and wide rooms and clean and their car parking near the villa and I love the welcome drinks. If you add some water, it will be great.

I honestly couldn’t rate this place higher, from the pool to the view, the living area and the rooms, the whole place was great. Shanty was brilliant at looking after us and anything we needed was provided immediately. A must if you stay in the Ubud area!

This villa was perfect for our stay in Ubud! Peaceful and quiet but still close to the action. The private pool was a godsend on hot Ubud days. Kadek was a really helpful, friendly host: he arranged early check-in for us, transported our suitcase to the villa and sorted a scooter rental for our stay. He also provided super useful extras like plenty of insect repellant and emergency phone numbers. The villa is just off a strip of restaurants, so food is never far away, and it’s only a half an hour walk to central Ubud. We’d happily recommend this place to any couple!

This place is an absolute Heaven. Tucked away in a quaint little corner of Ubud. The place has an amazing view of rice fields with the elevated covered deck giving beautiful setting to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets alike. And The host Made is one of the nicest person you would ever meet. An absolute gem with a heart of gold looking after the smallest needs of the guests. And Yes The Complimentary Breakfast provided by him is a wonderful treat. We shall be back here again.

From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming — we were even greeted with fresh coconuts, which was such a thoughtful and refreshing gesture. The villa is beautiful, clean, and spacious, with a peaceful atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The outdoor space is a highlight — relaxing by the private pool surrounded by lush greenery felt like a dream. What truly made our stay special was the host. Absolutely amazing — warm, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality went above and beyond, and it really made us feel at home. Soka Villa is the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and genuine hospitality. We loved every moment and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Nyos and his team are amazing. Location is beautiful. The views are amazing. It feels like you were in the middle of a treehouse mansion. However, if you do not like bugs and insects , this is not the place for you. You need to keep in mind that you are in the middle of a jungle and there are many crawling bugs, flying bugs that come into the house during the day when the doors are open.. otherwise everything was perfect and the service of the team was excellent, they did their best to make sure I was happy.

Our stay at Silsa’s villa was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, communication with Silsa was smooth and reassuring. The apartment took our breath away the second we walked in, it was beautifully presented and exceeded all expectations. Throughout our stay, Silsa consistently checked in to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her attentiveness and warm hospitality made our experience even more memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

The Podpadi property is truly a gem of a place! Peaceful, quiet, serene and absolutely delightful. Our stay in Ubud was really a memorable experience because we got to experience the wonderful hospitality of the team lead by Mr. Made. From the moment I arrived, I knew this place was something special. Tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting, it offered the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The atmosphere was incredibly serene — birdsong in the morning, gentle breezes through the trees, and an overall sense of calm that made it hard to leave. The space itself was immaculate. Every corner was spotless, and you could tell a lot of care and attention had gone into maintaining the home. The cleanliness alone made it feel like a true sanctuary. What really made the experience stand out was Ariana, the host. He was absolutely perfect, so warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. From quick responses to helpful local recommendations, he struck the perfect balance of being available without ever feeling intrusive. It's clear he genuinely cares about her guests' experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully hosted stay, this is the place.

Putu and Lilik have been super helpful! I was being a super procrastinator and only contacted them for airport pickup on the day before my flight, but they still kindly helped me to arrange a driver. The house was well maintained, and you could find all things you need. Nice for a vacation getaway!

We used the accommodation for 8 nights and were very satisfied. It was a 30-month family trip with a baby and an adult. I checked in at a clean and well-organized accommodation and was satisfied during my stay. I cleaned it every day. Both of the resident employees were very friendly and I was deeply moved by their active help with a few events that happened to my family. I recommend this accommodation🤗

I stayed at the villa for just one night, and it was amazing. The villa is clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The private pool was perfect for relaxing, and the atmosphere was super calming. Even though it was a short stay, I felt completely refreshed. The host was friendly and made everything easy. Wish I could’ve stayed longer — would definitely come back!

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. It was our first time to live and spend the night in an open house, and also built entirely in bamboo. The house was very well maintained and equipped with everything. Briefly described: luxurious simplicity and fantastic views of the valley. Upon arrival, you will first walk past a "levada" (name used in Madeira, but actually the same principle) up to 3 thatched-roof bamboo houses, whose ours was most open. Decision: FANTASTIC

The place is a little secluded, but we loved the view. You could look directly at the rice fields and had a very quiet place. Since you were away from restaurants and Warung, we ordered something to eat, which also worked out great. It should also be noted that you can't be picked up there so spontaneously due to the location. We would come back and recommend this place.

This place was amazing! The hosts were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had two catered meals that were beyond delicious! The staff became friends quickly! they were so caring and wonderful! I wish we could have stayed for longer. We will be back! A very beautiful Airbnb right on the ocean!
