We have restored an ancient bread oven on our little farm to make a cosy retreat in a quiet corner of the Dordogne. The kitchen and bathroom combine modern fittings with ancient beams and stonework while the comfortable sitting room features a log burning stove and the original paddle for the old bread oven, found when we started the renovation work. It is an ideal base for an active holiday (many options nearby)but the nightlife consists of sharing the stars with the owls and a bottle of wine.

We look forward to welcoming you into the characterful 'Petit Manoir' in the heart of the Perigord Vert. Our extensive gardens are the perfect place to relax, or if you wish to venture further, there are plenty of walks from the front door. The charming wing includes a master bedroom on the first floor with adjoining pigeonnier for use as study or extra bedroom, while the ground floor comprises a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, open plan living/dining room and an exercise room.

Charming tiny sechoir with shared pool

This totally unique and charming property is the perfect peaceful and romantic place to relax. Formerly a sechoir- for drying walnuts, we have carefully used the tiny space to house a double bed, shower, toilet and a kitchenette. There is a terrace outside to enjoy and of course shared access to the dramatic pool and land. The communal areas are shared with our family (inc three young children) and other guests. The sechoir is small and the bed is accessed with a ladder, a cosy little retreat.
