Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gémozac

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

Guylene is a welcoming and smiling person, as is her spouse. The place is peaceful and relaxing for a stopover. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Very clean accommodation, tastefully decorated, a real pleasure for the eyes. Philippe and Jocelyne welcomed us in person and with open arms. 1 st breakfast on the house, everything is included, even butter and jam💕 The accommodation is very well equipped. There's even toothpaste if you forget to slip it into the toiletry bag😉. For the kitchen, it's very nice to find salt, pepper, even the necessary for the vinaigrette. This is far from the case everywhere! It helps and it's a big plus. Florian, our two dogs Pakito and Olaf, and I greatly enjoyed our two days with you. We highly recommend Philippe and Jocelyne's accommodation. PS: very nice walks to do with your animals.

Very good exchanges before our arrival. We arrived very late, our host had left a light on so that we could find our way around without any problems. We only spent one night but it was perfect. Listing is as described, cozy, and tastefully decorated. We were able to enjoy the sunny terrace in the morning for coffee. We'll be happy to go back

What a beautiful home and a fabulous pool , many an evening was spent around it , we were totally relaxed after our stay and would highly recommend Our hosts were really accommodating and vet helpful and at the end of a message and were quick to respond . The area was lovely with fields around and easy to travel to different locations A fabulous family holiday was had by us all

Great family stay at Barbara and Gilles's. They are very friendly hosts. The accommodation is very clean, well located and quiet. If we have the opportunity we'll be back with pleasure!

Very nice well-appointed studio with in particular the bathroom and toilet space arranged in a way that has privacy (quite rare in housing👍) the outdoor spaces are simply beautiful and I would say that I place the welcome among the best I have received... human, helpful, discreet and responsive at the same time... well done to both of you 🌞

It was a pleasant stay and close to Bordeaux and even closer to cute towns along the river like Blaye. Lots to see and many wineries nearby as well! The accommodation is exactly as described and well worth it for the price.

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Very nice house even in winter! Lots of things available in the kitchen in particular but also boxes of tissues etc ... The decor, the atmosphere of the house and garden allow a zero stress stay

Clean, tidy "cabin spirit" accommodation. Bright, spacious, exotic accommodation. Many activities around to do such as visit the citadel and the city of Château d'Oleron, the beach and many paths in the woods.

Super pleasant stay, change of scenery and rest at the rendezvous. The house is very nice and functional as well as the exterior, large, wooded and the presence of the donkeys reinforces the zenitude of the place. We fully enjoyed this rental. We had a lovely time. The house is very well equipped and beautiful. The fireplace, stone, wood and natural materials of the house make it very soothing. the garden and children's structures really bring a plus for family stays. I really recommend it, thank you again.
