Loved the location. Peaceful. Great to sit on the patio surrounded by the trees and grass with lots of birds chirping. Close to a park with trails. About a 20-30 min walk from train station. Easy checkin. Host very responsive. The Airbnb inside had what you needed. I would describe it more as basic than luxury. Kitchen very simple. Great shower and comfortable bed. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay here again.

The Cottage is located in this small village, on a canal, with a beautiful windmill near by. Small but charming, it has everything a couple might need for a romantic and quiet getaway. The village and near by villages are very pretty and worth exploring on a bicycle. I would definitely return one day.

Price - quality ratio is great. Lovely spacious stay. Nice fenced outside. Wide view, beautiful sunset! Warmly received and good contact. We say do!

Magdalena welcomed us very kindly and lovingly took care of us. Although we did not book breakfast, she provided us with bread and other treats. The apartment matches the description, the location is beautiful. We will be happy to come back!

We were very kindly received, the accommodation exceeded our expectations, what a cozy and cozy accommodation, everything has been thought of and was present. nice to have your own piece of garden where you can sit on your own. shops and supermarket within walking distance. Good location to start a bike ride along the Linge, the most beautiful bike ride is from the dike on the left, towards Geldermalsen, there are enough leaflets to map out a junction route. Magnificent apartment for a couple or a small family! The place is very cozy, thoughtful, everything you need is available. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms have a lot of heaters, a cozy patio, parking right in front of the house. The surrounding area is also pleasing: calm, there are many attractions (a couple of churches, an old mill, a castle), there are a couple of cafes. The overall location of the devices is perfect for tourists. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Lisse, Leylesad are many tourist sites within an hour drive. Hosts deserve special attention. Very kind and attentive people, ready to help at any time, if necessary. They left the most pleasant impressions! If you're planning a trip to the Netherlands, be sure to take a look at this cozy corner.

Excellent location, clean, spacious and everything present. Bed was good but we didn't like the sleeping pillow. Good and good communication with Nathalie. Worth it.

We stayed with Esther and Bart for an extended weekend and were absolutely thrilled! Upon arrival, we felt super comfortable right away – the apartment is cozy, very clean and furnished with great attention to detail. The location was fantastic – very quiet and in a beautiful residential area, perfect for switching off and feeling good. At the same time, everything is easily accessible, which made the stay particularly pleasant. Check-in and check-out were super flexible and totally uncomplicated. Communication with the two was also consistently pleasant and very warm and uncomplicated. The hospitality was really great. We felt welcome from the start, and overall it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. We would love to come back and can only recommend Esther and Bart's accommodation.

Anton’s place was perfect for our needs. Much more reasonable than staying in Amsterdam and larger with more amenities. Monnickendam is a great little town with lots of options to get outdoors, like hiking, walking, or biking. Public transportation is efficient with many options and it’s about 30 minutes to Amsterdam Central. Anton gave us excellent recommendations that included a walk to Marken, combined with a ferry to Volendam. We will look to return sometime in the future. Thanks for the great stay!

Marcel is very kind. We get to enjoy the little yard. From the place, it is easy to access the city by bus, or even by walking for the traditional « wandeling ». My wife and I warmly recommend.

An incredibly warm and friendly welcome. Dear people, wonderful stay. Everything you could need was there. A nice bed. Very nice coffee with the percolator nice detail. We came to Nijmegen for a concert in the Goffert open-air theater, which was nice and close and very nice that we could use the bikes. Breakfast at Mr. Fox's was fun.

Very nice host, and amsterdam is easy to reach by train. The place was very clean and cozy.

After a workshop in Amsterdam, I stayed solo at Maarten's place for a few days. It was a quick (22-minute) and picturesque drive from Amsterdam, parking was easy, and the location was breathtaking. My favorite place I've ever stayed through Airbnb. Every detail had been considered; it was comfortable, clean, and cool. The church bells, the light through the windows was gorgeous, the bed was comfy, the bathtub was lovely, and the neighborhood was peaceful and walkable. There was a market a short walk away and plenty of restaurants and cafes. If you're coming to Amsterdam but want somewhere serene to recharge outside the busy city, this is *it*. There were plenty of P+R lots to leave my rental car and take the train/metro into the city. Communication from the host was clear, proactive, and responsive. Thank you for such a remarkable experience!

A very nice and quiet area. Beautiful nature and cultural places all easy to reach by car or public transport. Cottage is very complete, super clean and wonderfully quiet. A little crazy to enter through the garage with motorbikes and there was a gasoline air, but in the cottage itself nothing to notice. I can definitely recommend this place for people who love peace and quiet and want a cozy but modernly furnished accommodation. Best, Ninka

We stayed at the Barbara's place over the weekend. It's located in a peaceful area with a 10 mins walk to the railway station and the supermarket. The place itself is clean and spacious, also convenient for some basic cooking. Overall a very nice experience!

We had a lovely stay here and really enjoyed the peaceful area. I would recommend staying here if you want to enjoy nature but it’s also only a short travel from the city.

Laura's place was absolutely perfect for our short stay. It had everything we needed—comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. The room features a private entrance, bathroom, and shower, along with a cozy little area to prepare coffee and enjoy some snacks. Laura even provided us with fresh coffee and delicious fruit, which was a lovely touch. The space was clean, organized, and very welcoming. Located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, it offered a relaxing atmosphere just 20 to 30 minutes by bus from Amsterdam Central Station. We especially enjoyed going for morning runs in the area—it was calm, scenic, and just right to start the day. Highly recommended!

It was a perfect house with everything, the pool, nature, the lake view was perfect. Although they lived upstairs, it was nice that they felt alone as if they were not there. Thank you also for the dessert served. Hope to see you again as soon as possible.

We absolutely loved our stay in Schalkwijk. It was so easy to get to Utrecht, only about 20 minutes by car, which was perfect. The village of Schalkwijk itself is super cute, we really enjoyed the local feel. And our son made good use of the trampoline in the garden - definitely a big hit! Astrid, our host, was just wonderful. So friendly and welcoming, and had some great local tips for us. The space itself was lovely, you could tell it had a real personal touch. We honestly loved it and would happily stay again!
