Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gazi

We came 5 people - my husband and I, with our 2 children and my mother-in-law. First of all, a few days before we arrived Elena (an amazing woman with a perfect english) contacted me and made sure she has all the details so she can prepare a perfect stay for us. The house was super clean and equipped, and the outside was the best! We spent hours in the pool enjoying the amazing nature around us. Elena and her husband Yiorgos are wonderful people - they were very kind, caring and responsive. We wish we could come again next summer 🙏🏻

Alles war super und so wie wir uns es erhofft hatten. Die Gagstgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns jede Menge Kleinigkeiten zum Essen und Trinken bereitgestellt. Falls wir nochmal auf Kreta Urlaub machen sollten kommen wir definitiv wieder auf das AirBNB zurück.

Huge thanks to my hosts Nikoleta and Alexis! I loved staying at their gorgeous "landscape" apartment -- the photos don't do it justice! It's super peaceful and serene, with lovely views and landscaping and Alexis' art, plus some adorable visiting cats and a wonderful shady secluded area to sit outside. I arrived rather late (c 8 pm) but Nikoleta had been very proactively communicative and ensured I had perfect directions to the place. She was waiting there when I arrived and not only welcomed me warmly but also went far above and beyond, even offering me a bite to eat which Alexis kindly and deliciously prepared. They thought of everything and left so much food and so many supplies for me, even full breakfast supplies, very effective mosquito repellant and all toiletries/linens/etc. I fell in love with the place and the vibe, and especially appreciated being able to walk in less than five minutes down to the Knossos site when it opened at 8. Ten stars, I hope to stay again for longer!

Xanthi’s place is perfect in every way. First, it is the cleanest place I have ever stayed - no exaggeration. Everything is absolutely pristine, yet it feels very homey. Xanthi has thought of everything and has lovingly tended to every aspect of her home to make it comfortable for guests. It seems she genuinely enjoys hosting. The location is excellent. Plenty to do, see, and eat. You are in the heart of the town on a pedestrian street, so it’s lively but not noisy. With a 2 minute walk you can easily catch a cab. One of my best AirBnB experiences.

Notre séjour s'est super bien passé! Le studio est à environ 20 min du centre ville à pied, ce qui est très pratique pour visiter la ville. Il y a aussi pas mal de bus. La rue est quand même très bruyante même la nuit, heureusement Dimitris nous avait laissé de quoi dormir plus paisiblement. Dans l'ensemble, le studio est beau, propre et bien pratique. Dimistris est adorable

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

The apartment was beautiful, right on the water, with so many conveniences - stores, restaurants, etc. We received so many, perfect recommendations on places to eat, beaches to visit, wineries, etc. Thank you for an amazing experience!

The apartment in residental area. It was spacious and clean. It had everything that family with babies needs - baby bed, baby chair, potty, toys, stove, microwave, clean towels, paper towels, soft toilet paper, even beach towels. Soft comfortable beds. It even had UK power adapter. Note that apartment is on second floor without a lift. Despite outside being 37C, inside is comfortably cool even without air conditioning. Host is friendly, caring and responsive. Even prepared some meal for our arrival. Grainy sand beach is walking distance across the road. It had some seaweed and trash in it and we collected some. You are welcome. Rocks start to appear 25-30 meters from shoreline. It was most of the time uncomfortably windy. Residental area, not much around. No walking distance parks or benches. Nearest free playground 2km away. Closest paid playground is near the shop, very close, 8eur per kid. 10/10 overall, because we traveled a lot and did not stay put.

Безпечний район! Магазин 1 хв! Смачна кава в кав’ярнях! Дуже простора та чиста кварира! Є все потрібне: пральна машина, праска, фен. Автобусна зупинка поруч. Чисто просторно. Єдине що моде лякати, те що квартира знаходиться ра першому поверхні і вхід в квариру не з під’їзду, а прямо з вулиці, але район безпечний тому не варто за це переживати. Господар був чудовий, привітний! Виселення о 12:00 - просто супер. Рекомендую!

Great clean place, only 10 minutes walk to the beach. Big rooms, filled with everything you may need. Nice treats, easy self check-in, everything is pretty great. Only bad thing is that if you are using public transport, busses are sometimes delayed and it is not possible to go to the center by walking (7 km) Owner answers fast and precisely. Overall great experience

Abbiamo soggiornato in una casa arredata veramente bene, con tutti i comfort possibili disponibili. L'host è veramente simpatico e accogliente. L'unica cosa è il quartiere, tranquillo ma un po' trasandato. Comunque la casa è strepitosa, non potevamo chiedere dj meglio

Wir hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie beschrieben – sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage war gut, ruhig und dennoch gut angebunden. Der Gastgeber/die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Very central home but quiet at night . Very clean ,comfortable and in a safe neighbourhood Nothing was missing. Everything was perfect

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel chez Tasos. L’appartement est encore plus magnifique en vrai que sur les photos, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer qui coupe littéralement le souffle. Le jacuzzi privé est un véritable plus, offrant des moments de détente incomparables. L’appartement est parfaitement équipé, tout y est pensé pour votre confort. De plus, vous êtes à moins de 10 minutes à pied de la plage d’Agia et des meilleurs restaurants du coin, idéal pour profiter pleinement de la région. Tasos est un hôte très attentif et réactif, qui fait tout pour que votre séjour soit absolument parfait. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus. P.S. : N’oubliez pas de nourrir le petit chat de la résidence, il est absolument adorable. 😉

Die Wohnung ist sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und liegt fussläufig gut erreichbar vom Stadtzentrum Heraklions. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, und die Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit – ihre Tipps für die Stadt waren äusserst nützlich. Die Unterkunft bietet ausreichend Platz und ist mit viel Geschmack gestaltet. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen – absolut empfehlenswert!

Μικρό καθαρό ανακαινισμένο σπίτι, εύκολη επικοινωνία με τον Host, όταν επισκεφθούμε ξανά το Ηράκλειο θα μεινουμε πάλι εκεί.

You cannot beat this location. It is walkable to several shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Close to the waterfront, close to the airport in Seaport. Convenience that cannot be beat.

Ευχαριστούμε πολύ την Κάλλια και τον άντρα της ζητήσαμε κάτι και το είχαμε μέσα πέντε λεπτά επίσης μας βοήθησε σε κάτι που ψάχναμε στην περιοχή .Γενικοτερα πολύ φιλικοί και οι δύο .Πολυ καθαρός και όμορφος χώρος .το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα..Ευχαριστούμε και πάλι Ρανια-Ακης

Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Uns hat alles gefallen. Auch war es sehr schön in einer Gegend außerhalb der Touristen Massen zu wohnen und trotzdem zentral. Super freundliche Gastgeber und alles Tipi Topi😊
