Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gavaudun

Geweldig modern huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Het leek vantevoren lastig te vinden, maar viel achteraf reuze mee. Zwembad niet gebruikt (te koud). De host had heerlijk ontbijt en avondeten bereid (tegen betaling). De paarden in de wei om het huis als ook de rust en het uitzicht de vallei in geweldig. Voor de hond alles omheind. Lekker buitenzitten onder het afdak met een dekentje met welkomst drankje en hapje :D We hebben plannen om in november ipv 2 nachten, een week te gaan...

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

One of my favorite Airbnbs of the last 3 years - a very special place, tucked away in a charming hamlet. The area is beautiful, the lodging very tasteful - the whole experience was A+. I would definitely come and stay again.

We hebben geweldig genoten van de heel ruime woning. Vrij nieuw allemaal en mooi ingericht. Zo ook de plek, midden in de natuur. Veel faciliteiten om buiten te verblijven of aan het zwembad. Karen en Nigel zijn heel vriendelijke mensen en communicatie in het engels was zeer prettig. Top verblijf!

A lovely private old cottage on beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. The cottage is fenced in, so the dog can run free in the garden. It has everything you need and is nice and cool on hot summer days. Patrick was so welcoming. We loved our stay here.

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

We have just had a jolly spiffing holiday at Petit Grange! Monpazier is of course as beautiful as ever and the beer at Biere De Las Bastide still as quaffable, and all just 5 mins walk away! Petite Grange was perfect for our stay, having ample room to accommodate four adults. Everything you need has been thoughtfully included and all is clean and fresh as you'd expect from top notch hosts. Although we didn't try the pool or hottub (it being out of season) we found the garden and veranda offered both sunshine and shade, along with stunning views and a much-used BBQ, indeed if it wasn't such a beautiful area with much to see we could happily just hang out at Petite Grange - and will definitely return! It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! We had a brilliant stay! Tosha and Robert were absolutely fantastic — friendly, responsive, and so thoughtful. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and set in gorgeous surroundings. They went above and beyond to accommodate our 18-month-old, providing a stair gate, cot, and high chair, which made everything so much easier for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

Steve was very helpful always available to answer any questions. The place is a paradise and great walkways, views etc. His caretaker, Pascal, helped us check-in and offered to help…. Even set us up for a day of kayaking not mention and really great guy.

We had an absolutely lovely stay. Cornelis and his wife are wonderful and friendly hosts! The apartment boasts great views over the Lot, and they lended us a kayak so we could go experience it from up close. Nothing but great things to say about this place, and we'll be sure to stay again if we come back to the area.

An amazing chance to stay in a real chateau. Really spacious apartment in one of the towers. Lots of places to explore and very quiet and peaceful. Alice and her team were very helpful and ensured that we had a wonderful few days.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le logement était propre, spacieux, bien équipé et le lit confortable. Le jardin est très agréable, sécurisé pour notre chien qui a pu courir et s’amuser. L’endroit est très paisible, il y a beaucoup d’oiseaux, il y a 2 moutons sympas juste a côté du jardin (attention quand même si vous avez un chien qui fait de la prédation, il pourrait réussir à passer la clôture je pense). Enfin Charlotte a été réactive et très gentille, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)

c'était notre première réservation airbnb et honnêtement , très très très satisfait. le logement se situ en dans la foret, calme très calme ,paisible bucolique. le logement était impeccable. seul petit bémol, il n'y a pas de micro-onde, mais cela ne nous à pas trop dérangé. il y tous les équipements que l'on pourrai avoir besoin , rien à amener de la maison . la terrasse ? un point FORT , la vue est magnifique ,la glycine aussi, il y a une table et des chaises pour profiter d'un petit déjeuner à l'air . nos 3 chiens étaient ravis du petit chemin qui descend le chalet pour pouvoir aller faire leurs balade quotidienne , nous ne sommes pas allés dans la foret ou sur le chemin , qui il y (car je suis allergique à l'herbe et foret ) mais cela doit être très agréable pour les marcheurs , si nous avons le droit bien sur. il y a beaucoup de petits villages aux alentours qui mérites d'être visités comme nous l'avons fait En résumé , je recommande ce chalet et ses hôtes. merci à vous 2

Magnifique ensemble de gîtes avec un grand jardin et une superbe piscine bien chauffée, très agréable lorsqu’il fait chaud ! Accueil chaleureux de Christophe, qui est très disponible. Le gîte Naomi est très propre et fonctionnel mais un peu plus petit que ce que l’on pensait et les lits à l’étage ont peu de hauteur sous plafond mais cela nous allait très bien à 4. Il ne donne pas sur le jardin et la piscine mais a un petit espace devant pour prendre les repas. Endroit très calme et reposant.
