I really enjoyed my short stay at De Akker. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the room had everything I could have possibly needed. The host really looked after me and the breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Next time I’m in Oudtshoorn I would definitely stay at De Akker again.

We stayed over as a half wat stop between Port Alfred and Cape Town as we were traveling with our 3 month old baby. Communication with Tracey was easy, she was very quick to respond when we had any questions. The room was clean and as pictured in the photos with a very comfortable bed. There is a shared kitchen/living area between the three rooms with all the basics. There was a bit of noise coming from the road, but we had the windows open as it was incredibly hot during our stay. The room has a small fridge with snacks and drinks with and honesty jar, as well as a coffee station.

14 of us stayed at the Green Palm Cottage, and we had a lovely time. There was ample space for us, we enjoyed the common areas, and we were able to have a nice barbeque. Also, the close walk to the beach was very convenient. Would definitely stay again

Vanessa's Ocean Watch House in Plettenberg Bay is really recommendable. we felt right at home from start to finish. everything was always very clean, great view, friendly and nice service. everything was very fine and relaxing. thanks to vanessa and her team. Greetings from Michael and Magdalena

Great place and location, if you are looking for a spot anywhere close, this should be your first choice. Mariette was a magnificent hostess, went out of her way to made our stay with a toddler an absolute pleasure.

Excellent place to stay that is within easy walking distance of anyplace you want to go. Recommend especially if you plan to hang around a little, as it has a nice atmosphere. One note is that if you are leaving the house before 8 you will need to arrange breakfast elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Andy ist ein sympathischer und äusserts fürsorglicher Host. Das Wohlempfinden seiner Gäste steht an oberster Stelle und er lebt die Philosophie „my home is your home“ sehr authentisch. Das Anwesen ist super schön & grosszügig, eine wahre Oase und das Frühstücks-Buffet ist sehr abwechslungsreich und mit dem besten Birchermüsli von Südafrika!! :-) Zusammen Eddy und dem Vierbeiner Max ist das Dreamteam komplett. Wir können den Aufenthalt nur empfehlen!

Der Aufenthalt in der Hartenbos Private Game Lodge war ein aussergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Vom Zelt aus konnten wir verschiedene Tiere beobachten. Auf einer gebuchten Fahrt durch das Reservat haben wir sie noch näher gesehen und interessante Informationen erhalten. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Gute Ausstattung, auch wenn wir bei unserem kurzen Aufenthalt von nur einer Nacht wenig davon nutzen konnten.

The suite is super amazing with the great features the room has. A patio, an open garden, the jacuzzi , bathroom heating facility and the super spacious room makes it a great luxurious stay. Something worth mentioning is the courteous and always smiling staff they have is cherry on the cake. Thank you so much team for a great experience at such an affordable price :)

Peter and Dianne were both very helpful. The apartment was well appointed and furnished. There were many homey touches. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. They gave us great restaurant suggestions. Enrico’s was our favorite. We walked all around the estuary and beach just outside the door. What a fabulous location! There are great outdoor activities in every direction. Easily one of the best locations on our tour of South Africa.

Great property in the centre of Oudtshoorn, fantastic vibe, lovely swimming pools. Close to 2 very nice restaurants and good location for doing Oudtshoorn excursions. Emma was very helpful and responsive. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Wow just wow!!! We stopped over for just one night but could have stayed for several this place was so good! Lizanne is one of the best host we have ever experienced and her place just amazing! It felt like the home we needed after a long drive. Great location but the house even better! A must stay! Thank you Lizanne!

We had a great stay here and recommend it to everyone. It's a beautifull poperty, clean and spacious with good beds. Everything in town is walkable and there are good restaurants in the neigborhood

What a great place! You enter another world: peaceful, magical, beautiful and special. What a view over the rainforest. Don’t miss the walk down into the forest but beware : it’s steep and it can get hot so carry water. A lot of things to do within 30 minutes: birds of Eden, elephants, beaches… And Benny is one of the nicest, coolest and most helpful host I ever met: we forgot something important at the lodge and he want the extra, extra mile to make sure we get it back in time before we fly back. An outstanding experience . Very peaceful . Three perfect hosts. Olaf has owned restaurants and is an excellent chef. Took us on Safari so we saw the caves and hippos surfacing just yards from us during lunch Don't be put off by the road. Google maps are correct, but say you are there 100 yards after the entrance on the right. Can't over praise the stay Frank

This is the gate way to the world famous Cango caves and other tourist attractions in the area. Clean, good internet and excellent breakfast choices.
