Cabin holiday rentals in Galloway Forest Park

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laigh Letterpin Lodge. We had many peaceful nights in the hot tub with spectacular farm views. The lodge itself is very private and secluded. Laigh Letterpin Lodge is very well thought out and was spotless on arrival. Everything exceed our expectations. Would definitely recommend to people who like peaceful weekend breaks.

We had a fabulous stay at the lodge. It was as described, super clean and beaitifully decorated. The hot tub was the highlight, as well as being able to watch the cows and sheep go about their day in the field behind. The lodge is in a wonderful location to explore different towns along the south of Scotland. The nearby farm shop is one to try for some yummy delights. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing stay made all the better by the lodge. We would love to stay again and hope we get the chance to again! Highly recommend.

We really liked our stay at the pods! The location is beautiful, with pedestrian access to a very nice hike. The pods themselves were perfect for us and had everything we needed, in addition to an amazing view! We did not have a car, but there is a local bus that can drop you very close to the site.

Lovely place to stay, exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for our time away. Hot tub was easy to use and such a nice way to wind down at the end of the day whilst listening to the birds.

Me, my partner and my dog stayed for 2 nights. Sarah and Mark were brilliant hosts and the pod was exactly as described. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back!

This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful location - we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of cooking basics provided too. Cabin is lovely and clean, with very comfortable beds. looking forward to staying again in the future.

We had a lovely stay, the place is absolutely beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The views are incredible and falling asleep to the sound of the stream was heaven. The photos really don’t do this place justice. Lucy the host was super responsive and others we met that worked on the farm were also really nice and helpful. Already hoping to return! The little town is a short drive away and has some nice spots for food. It’s a really good location. Highly recommended. Thank you for a great stay!

This was a beautiful lodge tucked away off the beaten track and the lodge was really beautiful with all of the facilities we loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. My stand out feature was the walk into Keswick on an evening along the mineral track, which I was happy we brought torches as it was pitch black. A truly fantastic break from home thank you Emma.

What a gem. We had a fabulous time. It was quiet and relaxing with lots of birds and bunnies. It was well stocked with everything you need. The bed was small but comfy. Great large shower. Very enjoyable week. Watching the tide come in was awesome as we're the beach walks.

Fantastic cottage / log cabin. Incredible vistas across Wigtonshire and Irish Sea beyond. Ideal location for Kircudbright and Wigton as well as 7 stanes cycling locations- for us. Lovely and cosy inside.

A lovely place in such a beautiful location - right next to a deer park and a short walk from the beach. The kitchen had anything you could need for cooking/baking and Mark and Becky were kind enough to provide us with bread, milks and snacks along with a hand-written note. I can’t think of anything bad to say about the place and would definitely recommend to friends and family

Loved every second of this stay. We arrived to prosecco chilling in the fridge, cakes and ready to use hot tub. The scenery was spectacular with very cute animals near by. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A group of 6 of us had an INCREDIBLE time! It's a beautiful modern cabin, spacious & clean with plenty of storage. Enough room for 3 cars to park at the cabin with no problems! Dog friendly (but no paws on the furniture!) Luna (my cocker spaniel) enjoyed some of the doggy biscuits left in a jar in the kitchen! The view of the lake is stunning, quiet and peaceful surroundings with plenty to do nearby. Julie is a fabulous host, responsive and friendly! I would highly recommend this beautiful gem 💎 Cannot wait to come back!

Had a fantastic time In this property, I’ve been staying during a university placement and I felt right at home straight away, hosts are lovely people who stay near by and are happy to answer any queries. Always proactive and responsive even if I miss the odd message during night shift 😅 Would happily come stay again as I loved my time here and now my partner and I are considering buying a static in the future

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend to explore the lakes. It was a great base for the places we wanted to see. There is only one pub in walking distance which was nice but the nearest town is a 15min drive away. This suited us fine but may not suit others. The caravan was very clean and had everything you’d need! The hot tub was a lovely treat after long walks each day. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family.
