Although it doesn’t have too many reviews the place itself was just great and perfect for our first night stay. The bed is big and very comfortable and bathroom is also very nice. The location was good and although it’s next to busy street you can’t hear it. The guest house is separate from the main buliding which is very convenient. Definitely recommend!

Very cozy house in the middle of a forest. feels super quite and remote but Ahangama is right around the corner by Motobike. Couple of minutes drive to the next beach / surfing spot with some smaller shops close by. stayed for 2 weeks and has everything needed to cook or have a quite rest day at home. highly recommended!

Am booked in for one week, only a five min walk to the beach. It’s ideally located and has a great open space garden area. You don’t hear any traffic only the sounds of mother nature. The room is spacious and the en suite bathroom has a nice shower. A kettle and basic crockery are provided. There’s ample storage space, plug sockets and space to hang your clothes. It’s very affordable and immaculately clean. The mattress is very comfortable and the ceiling fan keeps you cool throughout the night. There’s a washing machine on the property and the host is very accommodating and kind. The dogs greet you upon returning home. Chathura the host has expert knowledge of the surrounding area and is only too happy to assist you. He’s the consummate host, a well deserved five stars.

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

The place is in a truly lovely place, nestled amidst lush greenery. The location was incredibly calm and quiet, offering a perfect escape. The house itself was beautiful, even more so than the pictures suggested. Ben was a great host, making sure our stay was absolutely unhindered. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway.

Fabulous stay! It's beautiful inside and out. The team is great, everyone is very kind and super responsive. The bedroom by the pool is separate from the rest of the house - this worked perfect for us as our pals had kids and they all had the run of the house. Breakfast was amazing. It went above and beyond our expectations. Genuinely thinking of booking again for the autumn.

The Old Chilli House apartment is an amazing and well designed place. From the moment that I stepped inside, I already felt at home. Everything is beautifully arranged, super clean and attention has been put to detail. Enough space is also given, the apartment even has a walk in closet. I absolutely loved the balcony and the whole vibe of the apartment. It is away from the hustle and bustle. On top, Kris and his family are perfect hosts, and the breakfast was great. Kris is a super friendly, funny and energetic guy, that really cares about his guests! Highly recommended place 😀!

I recently stayed at White Villa and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host, Lalith, was incredibly friendly and allways willing to help. It was a pleasure talking with him. The location of the Villa is ideal, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The atmosphere of the place was pleasent and welcoming. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend White Villa to anyone looking for a great place to stay close to Balapitiya.

I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks during my hospital internship and have been very happy with the location, cleanliness and value for money. Chandra and her husband are hospitable, quiet landlords who were easy to reach at any time. I felt very safe here. This apartment is suitable for short and long stays in Galle. The city center and Unawatuna can be reached quickly by bus and for the hospital in Karapitiya I took a tuktuk every day for the equivalent of €1.50. The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk and perfect for swimming and surfing beginners. I'd come back.

We had a great stay here. Every time we come to Galle this is where we will stay. We not only enjoy this host we have stayed with this host multiple times and we have only positive things to say. We look forward every time to checking in that we arrive and have a wonderful time. We cannot stress enough how beautiful the property is and how responsive the hosts are to provide anything for the guests.

Amazing host and the space was extremely homely. It was picturesque and exactly as the photos advertised. The amenities were functional and the space in itself was well maintained and clean. It was an Eco-friendly abode. It was a calm and peaceful stay. A little away from the hustle and bustle but the distance to other restaurants and shops were pretty close by and walkable. Transportation was also easily available.

It was a very wonderful stay, the overall feeling is very nice to see the sea👍🏻 in the bed, I also saw a super beautiful sunset on the first day, with the sound of the waves every night with this natural white noise the🛌 host also prepared the fruit, very delicious😋 It's a bit of a distance from the central scenic spot,🛺 5 minutes by tuk-tuk to the town, but that's great because a lot of attraction salesmen can be avoided All in all it was great and my friend and I really wanted to keep staying

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

As soon as we arrived, Chanuka received us with sincerity. Their welcome drinks were amazing. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. We were impressed by the sincerity of their entire family. And the check-out day was truly amazing. They organized breakfast and lunch for us. We had a wonderful few days. Those who want to visit Galle can rest assured in this house. I stayed in the guest cottage on a lovely private (gated) property full of jungly trees, birds, and monkeys! Eva has built a paradise. It was wonderful to walk down to yoga a few times. Overall it's exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet (except for all the bird chatter, but that was lovely). Also the staff are so lovely and helpful and smiling. Just a reminder that there's no AC, and you are in the jungle so be obsessively clean in the kitchen (hello ants) and don't let the little lizards scare you. I named one Fred. :). If the wifi doesn't work, just find the wifi repeater and ensure it's plugged in, and ta da, the signal perks right up. Highly recommend.

We had a good stay in Gihan’s place, he is a friendly and kind host same for his family and the beautiful dog Leo. They tried to accommodate us in the best possible way which we appreciate very much, giving us a bigger room and providing us with better internet solutions (60GB for 7 days) which is usually only 2GB per day and not unlimited. It’s great that they provide a kitchen for the guests, it’s an outdoor kitchen though which caused us some trouble due to many insects. So keep in mind to store all foods in the fridge. There are many mosquitoes at the property which gave us hard time and also without air conditioning is very very hot and is difficult to sleep. At least while staying there in the beginning of November We can recommend the place, but consider to bring mosquito spray and to a room with AC. If you need to work or use the internet a lot, buy a local SIM Card too. We wish Gihan and his Family all the best.

We had a great stay at RH Townhouse. Buddhika and his family were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Buddhika gave us recommendations for things to do, foods to try and kindly drove us to Colombo after our stay. RH Townhouse is in a great location, close to Galle but in a quieter area which we really enjoyed. Would recommend staying here!

Wonderful Stay We had an amazing stay on this beautiful property located in Galle . The space was immaculately clean and very spacious, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The complex offers great amenities – we especially enjoyed the pool& the gym. There’s also ample car parking, which made things so convenient. Our host Any was extremely responsive and helpful, making check-in smooth and answering all our questions quickly. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
