apartment is very Peaceful and sea beach very near also shopping centre you can walk by yourself . garden very clean and beautiful. our family spend very nice time together at the apartment. Specially with papa everything is best There was a lake just next to the garden. Highly recommend. we will come back again soon.

Our stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The host was so kind and generous. Harshani even went out of her way to prepare breakfast and lunch for us which was delicious and homely. We felt right at home at the stay. The stay is 4mins walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and the stay looks just like in the pictures -clean. Highly recommend this stay!

The Apartment is really nice. Especially because it is located directly next to a beautiful beach. As a guest there are also two daybeds at the beach that can be used for free. The apartment has a big terrace with nice views towards the beach, on which we enjoyed our breakfast and playing card games in the evening. The host was also really nice and he provided us with very useful advice for local restaurants, attractions etc. All in all we had a very nice time at this place.

Danuka was a great host, very flexible with check in/out times and let us drop our bags off early. Helped us rent scooters and even source a lost parcel. Thanks for a great stay

Just as advertised and a great location. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Very clean and spacious. Staff is lovely! If you’re a light sleeper, there are announcements early in the morning close to location over a loud speaker. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Great welcome , extremely clean spaces...the only downside is the proximity to the railway...which was well indicated in the listing ...but very noisy when a train passes ...I imagine we get used to it but in 3 days we don't have time ... also 10 minutes from the market, the beach ...good location ...

This place is great! Sonali is so responsive and helpful. The apartment is just as described, clean and well equipped. You do have to pay extra for AC which is needed. The washing machine is wonderful to have and a really nice touch. We would stay again!

We had a great time at Joanne’s place. The house is centrally located with all good restaurants, supermarket, currency exchange stores and local market being just a stone’s throw away from the house. Joanne is extremely responsive and is very friendly. The folks down at the ice cream parlor are warm too. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to anybody who is looking to explore Ahangama!

Wonderful place, Kanthi was extremely kind and her cooking is really good. the garden is beautiful.

We had a very comfortable stay in the apartment, it was a great place to base ourselves and travel around Galle and the southern beaches each day. If we had any issues, they were responded to quickly and efficiently. The apartment security is very good, and so helpful having a supermarket in the complex. We would definitely stay here again.

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

I had a fantastic stay at Coloration Villa! Sumudu is a wonderful host—welcoming, helpful, and always available. The villa is modern, clean, and surrounded by nature, offering the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation. I loved the spacious rooms, open-plan kitchen, and the peaceful garden. The location is ideal—close to Hikkaduwa’s beaches and nightlife, yet tucked away in a quiet village. Whether you’re here to surf, explore, or just unwind, this place is perfect. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Amazing place with everything you need, it's actually more beautiful than the photos. We stayed here for a week and everything was perfect and convenient! The host family is very friendly and provided useful information about nearby attractions and food! I cannot say anything bad about Hanuman Place's. I spent three weeks there and it was fantastic. I loved that the location is very local and the surroundings are beautiful and they have six dogs. :) From beginning until the end it was true Sri Lankan hospitality. I felt welcome from the first minute and did not want to leave. For sure I will be back for another visit! Also, if you get the chance to try the food they prepare, do it! It is the best food I've tried in Sri Lanka!

Highly recommended guesthouse with very helpful host, providing super tasty breakfast and great recommendations for the region (turtle rescue project, boat trip), where he even drove us to. Never seen such a kind host. Just perfect!

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

At first, Google Maps gave me a hard way, so I wandered around a bit, but I felt better when I saw the place in such a great space. It was a little far from Hikadu and Main Beach, but it was good to go to Tuk Tuk, and it was a place where you could feel the very nice forest path and the beach at the same time. Very friendly family, welcome coconut juice and milk tea, and a bit of snacks we felt Sri Lanka's kindness and kindness again. It was a trip to stop by, so I only stayed one day, but it was a good thing that it was so comfortable and enjoyable.

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
