The cabin is located in a remote, quiet place, perfect for nature lovers and for those who want to get away from the daily life. We have no electricity but we have a solar photovoltaic system. We have no running water, no bathroom, but we have a compostable toilet and a shared shower, so you can feel closer to nature. You can make a barbeque, a camp fire, relax in the hammock, fish in our lake or just enjoy the silence. Our dogs and cats will be more than happy to play with you, all day long.

Locatia noastra este situata in ultima localitate (Capatanenii Ungureni) inainte de Cetatea Poenari si de barajul Vidraru, la doar 20 km de Curtea de Arges, pe un drum paralel cu Transfagarasanul. Surprisingly, just about 1h 40min drive from A1 exit of Bucharest and quite close to Transfăgărășan Road, in Vâlsan River Natural Reserve, there is this delightful Walnut Treehouse named Căsuța cu Miez. (transl. ‘Walnut Kernel Treehouse’). We don’t know for sure how old the walnut tree is, but we do know that it offers a unique occasion to enjoy the splendid nearby hills and forests, the apple tree orchards, the pastures and lots of wild birds and poultry.
