It was really nice staying at "Shant Kuti". Beautifully maintained by caretakers - Pritpal and Tilak. The food was really tasty, all amenities were provided. It was like home away from home. They have a fixed menu per person, if you opt for their food service, inform them in advance and it is very reasonable amount. It was tough to use the switches in every room due to 3 pin required for them, an extension in every room would be really helpful. Currently extension was provided only in one of the room which is on the first floor. Regarding the way to the property: the caretaker will come to guide you to the property. The inner way to the property is narrow, just enough for one car. Drive slow in that area as there is no boundary on one side. The parking place is for 2 cars easily. Must recommend for everyone and have dinner/lunch/breakfast at the property which is tasty and cost effective.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. My sister has some difficulty walking, and Kanwar bhai, our host, was incredibly gracious and accommodating throughout. My father, who’s in the wood polishing business, was genuinely impressed by the craftsmanship and aesthetics of the cottage every detail was thoughtfully done. The pool was easily accessible, and the food was delicious with generous portions. A special thanks to Vijay, our concierge, who made everything seamless and added a personal touch to our experience. The views were stunning, and we’re already planning to come back during the winter. Highly recommended!

Come here to experience the best Vintage stay in Dalhousie. The place is mesmerizing with all the antiques, fireplace, ambience that you will feel that you are in a dream British cottage! Sabina is very helpful, kind and proactive with a personal touch. She was helpful throughout the stay and provided useful recommendations. This review is incomplete without mentioning the all in one superhuman Mr Rakesh! A great cook, soft-spoken, kind hearted super active human taking care of us in the cottage was so helpful and sweet. He prepared delicious meals and carefully took care of us in the harsh cold during our visit. It was very helpful of the team to bring our luggage to and fro our Cab. This was a very thoughtful arrangement by Sabina! Overall an excellent place to stay and enjoy! Thanks for everything!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout, making check-in and everything else smooth and stress-free. The location was peaceful. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again.

A warm and welcoming stay! Vijay’s family( the actual host), especially his mother and his wife Nittu, made us feel truly at home. Praveen was extremely efficient and helpful. Some suggestions to improve the experience: Power backup and AC are essential.The coolers provided are useless in the humid weather.we were without electricity for few hours in this hot season of dharamshala Exhaust fan in washroom is needed. Fan in the outdoor area for comfort. Kitchen needs better equipment. Beds and mattresses could be more comfortable. Add almirah and suitcase space in rooms. With a few upgrades, this lovely place can be even more enjoyable!
